I have several apps that show in the Accessibility section that are to be turned on. The problem is that the OK button is not available. It does mention something about Talkback. I had this disabled but enabled it again, but it made no difference.I'm on Lollipop but this may have been happening in KK as well.

When browsing trough one of my favourite news sites, I noticed when pressing the return button, it does the same as the recent apps button. It brings up the list of all my recently used apps.
I have tried a bunch of things like clearing the cache, getting a third party app to get a return button on the screen, even a full factory reset.
I have started suddenly getting old android type swype lockscreen with SOS BUTTON in center. I never opened SOS settings. On checking sos settings it is off. How to remove this lockscreen?

When I am on the home page and I quickly press the center button the "app drawer" used to open up but that has recently changed for me. I've cleared cache, cleared data, cleared defaults. I've turned off flipboard and google newstand.This piece of crap app is still running and draining my battery.

My wife's S5 has same setting, but hers does not work unless you turn you Power Saving Off. Her vibrate works on text message but not the back button?

Look in device/system/usr/keylayout for generic.kl
Make a backup of this file before editing.
Open it in a text editor and look for lines "Key 158 BACK" and "Key 172 HOME"
Swap BACK and HOME then save and reboot.
Then open All in One Gestures and under hardware keys tab, swap function of home and back again.
Somewhere along the line the wake function is dropped. Everything else works as normal.
My phone fell down the side of my recliner. My down volume key is now stuck and since my battery cut out my phone is now in safe mode. This means all my apps I have downloaded are not available.

I cant restart, turn off, use any apps at all, I cant even get into the settings to factory reset anything. I did manage to do a clear up yesterday but it didn't seem to work. I have had the phone for 4 months. I have no insurance on this device, is it even worth taking it into a store? I scanned through the web and found some has encountered the same issue but I haven't found a real solution. I'm actually new at rooting and flashing things to phone. My phone is unlocked and rooted. I did things like - factory reset and asked someone to flash the stock rom for me but the ghost pressing is still there so i'm thinking that i should completely the back button and use an app for replacement. However I don't know how to disable the back soft key.
I can't find the loop button in the stock music player for the S6. The shuffle option is there, but no loop?

Everything about the phone is great except the annoying multitasking and back button that i keep accidentally "touch" when playing games, watching full screen vids, etc. Is there a way to make the side "buttons" less sensitive or move it to the home button like the iphone? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S5 updated to Android Version 5.0 (KitKat).
Currently when I press the Power Button, the screen goes black. But it does not lock the screen.
I have the screen lock set to 30 seconds. But even so, there are lots of times when I have put the phone in my pocket and it accidentally it the home button before the 30 seconds is up and random apps get launched as my phone bounces around in my pocket.
So I would like to be able to press the power button and immediately have the screen lock. I was able to do this on my original Galaxy Nexus. But I cannot figure out how to do this on my Samsung.
I did some google searches and I found many many posts that said "go into settings, select lock screen, scroll to the very bottom and click the option to enable lock on power button."
The problem is, when I go into the Lock Screen settings and scroll down to the very bottom, I don't see any such option. So, how to enable the Power Button to immediately lock my phone?
why the back button is working by itself? I can feel the slight vibration when it does. Does it anytime I use the phone. The open apps button works by itself sometimes too. Hasn't been dropped, only had it a month!

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I noticed that some apps utilize a floating menu button (I think that's because the s6 doesn't have a dedicated menu button?) that appears like a circle with 3 dots on the screen wich you can move around.
However it appears to somehow be broken, as when I tap the button a menu appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears again, not giving enough time to do anything and of course rendering such an app useless.
