Galaxy S6 :: APN Settings - Can't Send / Receive MMS
May 3, 2015I know that this is probably an APN settings issue, however, it appears US Cellular has disabled access to that setting.
Here is a picture of my screen in the settings where it is usually located.

Nov 3, 2012Before this morning, every time I would try to send a picture in a text message it would just sit there, 'sending' but never send. It was the same story when someone would send me a picture. It would just sit there 'downloading' but never actually download. This morning I tried looking online for a solution and tried following the instructions I found here for the multimedia message settings. Now when I try to send a picture (or any attachment) I get a message at the bottom of my screen that reads "Currently unable to send your message. It will be sent when service becomes available." The same basic thing happens when someone sends me an MMS, "Currently unable to download. Please try again later".My phone is currently connected via wifi, but I also have packet data activated and I have auto-retrieve on..what am I missing? I am new to smart phones, but this is something that was happening with my old samsung corby as well.

Oct 2, 2015My Galaxy S5 was bought new and boxed on August 6th. After 5 weeks it started playing up as the ringtone would play over and over with every new notification (FB, Twitter etc) meaning I had to turn the phone off. A reboot and Zedge app delete sorted this out however now I find I cannot sent text messages but I can receive them. I can also post on all social media but not send a text.
I have twice restored the phone to factory settings which solves the problem for about a week, then it returns. I'm on 4G with Unlimited Texts and I'm not over my allowance. To date I have tried the following which didn't work....
* Switched the phone off then back on
* Installed the latest software
* Switched to Flight Mode then back again
* Checked the text message centre number (+447782000800) is correct
* Restored phone to factory settings (twice)
* Removed WhatsApp
* Removed all music and video media
I managed to get my text service up and running (so far) by clearing the message cache. Here is how to do it on Samsung S5 APPS - SETTINGS - scroll down to APPLICATIONS - APPLICATION MANAGER - scroll across the screen to the left to the 'ALL' menu - scroll down to MESSAGES - CLEAR CACHE. Finally re-start your phone to allow changes to take effect.

Oct 3, 2015I have a galaxy s6 with verizon and hen I try to send pictures it says "unable to attach file". but sometimes it says it cannot re-size the pictures. When I have pictures sent to me they come through but never download it just stays on the downloading bar. I also believe I have my data on so thats not the problem. Why is this?

There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

Jun 18, 2012I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

Oct 22, 2010I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network
