Meanwhile, the Nokia Store already offers v1.5: [URL] However, [URL] reports that Belle has generally problems with sharing photos from the gallery:[URL]I have NOT been able to confirm this issue with Belle and the older Nokia Social v1.3 installed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have with my Nokia E7. I am not receiving pictures via text message but I can receive text based text messages. I can send pictures and texts though.
Is there some function that I have to enable?
My E72 will not save sent messages. To quote: "Yr last 20 messages sent are automatically saved in the Sent folder". They ain't. "To change the number of saved messages, open Messaging > Options > Settings > Other". There is no Other option in Settings. Currently on software 054.005.217.11, but this was a problem before the update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my E7 and every time I want to connect to a WIFI spot I need to enter the passkey. I upgraded from E72 and before that I had an E71, and on both phones I only needed to enter the passkey once and I only have to select the particular wlan connection after that, no need to enter the passkey.
By the nature of my work i always connect to different wifi spots of my clients, so you see this is really important for me
I received a text message with a picture (ya know, one of those possibly WBMP format ones). After 15 minutes now, I'm still shocked to have found no way to save that picture. Nokia has made my life miserable within one month. (This was my first Nokia phone ever.) I find no consistency anywhere. Any basic thing takes enormous number of key presses or is not present at all.How can I save the picture I received in the text? There's no such option in the message menus.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an E71x. It has a BUNCH of issues, but my main problem now is I was saving my text messages to my installed memory card. The card became full. I took the card out to get some audio files and other stuff off it to make more room. Well, at some point the phone said the memory card was missing and it would use the internal memory. Now I can't get it to use the memory card again. I see no way to put it back to that. I think the only option I got was to "Copy" messages to the memory card. But I don't want to do that.
I need to save as much stuff as I can off the phone, then reset or restore the phone to the factory settings, or just re-install everything. (this Symbian OS and Nokias poor support of it are for the birds...)But, how do I get the phone to save messages to my memory card again?
I want to disable either the power save or change the light time out setting, but I can do neither?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis should be easy to find, but I must be a complete dunce because I can't find it in the user's manual or anywhere else. How does one transfer photos from the phone to a PC using the USB cable. I emailed support about this, but the only replies I got were one, to install Nokia Ovi Suite on the PC, which is not a good solution, because often it is necessary to transfer photos to computers that don't have that software installed. Or second, to connect using mass storage mode. The problem with that is that mass storage mode can only access the memory card, but the camera stores the photos in phone memory. I was able to successfully download a few photos by clicking on options/organize which gave the option of moving the photo to the memory card from where it could be downloaded. Now however, I find that that option has disappeared for recent photos, and options/organize only offers the option of "create new folder". how to perform the simple task of transferring my photos to a PC? (I don't have Bluetooth).
View 11 Replies View RelatedI got the phone from a friend of mine, who took off his memory card. I put a new memory card.In the gallery there is over 700 images indexed, which does not exist anymore(they were on the old memory card). When I try to delete them I got the following message:"General: System error"I have tried the following:
- Create a folder named: I:Imagescamera201006201006a0 (for June 2010) and placed an image file with the following name: 06062010085.jpg - unsuccessful
- Delete(rename) some files(folders) located in "Private" folder - I read that these files contains the index data - unsuccessful
- Reset the phone to factory settings - unsuccessful
I use an E73, but searched the forum and know this problem plagues the E72 and maybe other phones, too. In my case, the sequence went like this:1) Receive email with attached pictures2) View each picture3) Press the scroll key while each picture is visible, get a Save prompt, and choose the internal phone memory. A "Saved to Gallery" prompt appears.4) Pictures were written to the root area of C:DataImages and can be viewed in Gallery5) At some later point, delete one or more pictures using File Manager6) Now when running Gallery, placeholders for the images still exist, and trying to delete them results in the a "General: System Error".There is no high level "Refresh" option.
If the pictures were on the SD Card, deleting E:private101ffc31glxmdstn (the card's thumbnail database) would fix this problem, but these pictures are ON THE C: RIVE! Assuming C:Private (which is inacceessible from any file viewer) contains another thumbnail database, my only options appear to be1) Soft reset (Will this work?? Please. no guessing! )2) Hard reset3) Hack the phoneI am using the latest E73 firmware that was released just a couple weeks ago. Does anybody with an E72 (etc.) know if this problem was already fixed for other Nokia phones?I made a short list of E73 bugs here: /t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/Some-E73-044-088-firmware-bugs/m-p/904401#M83905 but this may actually be the worst bug of all because there is seemingly no workaround.
Any photos or backgrounds I put on my memory card are not viewable in the image gallery and If I move a image from the phone memory to my memory card in the image gallery It just disappears. I tested the memory card in another phone and it works fine

I'm editing my contact list and I stumbled upon a way to add photos to my contacts without having to save them on my phone (so the photo can be full screen and not thumbnail).I use the Ovi Suite - Contact manger. My question is: What do the specifications for the image should be so that it can fill the screen from side to side and top to bottom. 500x400 and also the size of it.. like 150kb.I am struggling with different sizes, aspect ratios, quality and i can't seem to find the perfect match.

I have them all backed up to Google Photos and don't need them also on my phone.
My E7 did this when I first got it but after some time I managed to make the videos not appear in the Photos Application but can't remember how.
How do I stop videos appearing in the Photos Application?
I have a problem trying to see my photos after taking them. Can take them using the camera. Can preview the photos but when i want to see them, "goto photos" option opens up a entirely blank screen. Trying to access it via the menu opens up a blank screen but with the "Photos" heading seen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
