i recently installed an apps named mobitracker, whiich was firstly working very well, but as i restart my fone, it does not open(mobitracker). View 4 Replies View RelatedI just updated to the 500.21.009 firmware on my Nokia E63 and now I am regretting that I made the switch.I think this version of the firmware is not stable at all.
The first question is: How do I remove the annoying Lotus Notes Traveler? Uninstalling it doesn't work. I have read the solution is to use YBrowser, but I don't want to pay for using this software, nor do I want to use an untrusted application on my phone. Let's just say that I am paranoid about such things.
What is the next best solution to remove this? I really can't understand why Nokia is forcing this software on its users. Seriously. Not everyone uses Lotus Notes. And if you want to force it, why not provide an easy way to remove it?
I've tried doing a hard reset but I can't seem to get rid of the T-Mobile branding rubbish from my E72. Things like the T-Mobile welcome animation when you switch it on and their horrible pink theme. (I can change the theme but I want to be rid of it...) I would also like the web browser to take notice of the home page I've set - at the moment it goes to T-Mobile's web offering no matter what I set it to.

The replacement phone has Belle installed, which is the most un-useable piece of software I have seen in a fair while. It is far less useful for business than Anna was, and I need to remove it and step back to Anna, if only because I used to be able to have 4 email inboxes on my front screen as well as the time, profile, date AND notifications area... now this takes three home screens to achieve which is completely useless.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia E5 phone which I use as just a Mail for Exchange Checker/ Bicycle GPS/Internet and general all around disposable phone.For a $40 phone it is just fantastic! It does so much for so little. I just wish nokia made their phones more apps friendly.My E5 does not have a mobile carrier phone plan since I have another phone that does that. This E5 is set up as a rough duty phone for the phone features such as sports tracker.
For the phone to work with WIFI with Mail for Exchange's auto email retreival, (since I don't have data since my phone has no service) I had to get an old expired sim card from another phone. (won't auto retreive with phone in offline mode)But the phone always displays "Sim card registration failed" and I have to click out of it constantly. Is there a way to remove that notification? I already know that it failed. It's an expired card just to get the phone to work in General mode.

I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?
