After I make some phone calls ,my touch screen stops working ,I have to restart the phone or take battery out and then starts working but not for long I tried factory reset as well but no luck
View 2 Repliesive purchased Blackberry Porsche Design 9981 on June 16th ive used it over a month ago and ive started having some keypad problems with it. Ive notified the people who sold it to me, but after a month later it totally stopped working. So ive sent my blackberry to a HK Blackberry office, Beijing Blackberry office. They still couldnt get my phone fixed. Back Button, Answer Button, End Call Buttons are stopped working.So now the company that sold it to me they are saying they cover a technical damage.Who do i contact? What do i do with this **bleep** phone?

The phone is currently running 7.0 build 2395. I am in Portugal and use a Portuguese carrier that provides BlackBerry services.I tried using Desktop Software, no new updates are detected.I tried OTA as well, but in the Options menu there is only an option for Device - About software versions, but there isn't an option or icon to check for updatesI tried web-based updates but again, no updates available were detected. Is it possible that 7.1 isn't yet available for download in Portugal?
I was so excited to read in the specs that this unit had a "scratch resistant touch screen." Problem is, there is a HUGE scratch on the face of my Motoactv after less than a week of ownership.

Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.
My HTC Touch Pro (XV6850) screen no longer works when I touch it. Is there an replacement digitizer for it? Its the XV6850 version for Verizon.

See, when I just click a button to resume it from standby and try to scroll anlong the bottom menu on the screen using the touch pad sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But also when I click the tlouch pad nothing happens, so I can't go into anything, like my messafges. It only works sometimes when I press the menu button again. I'm still recieving messages, though, but I can't get to them, obviously. Please help me! I've only had my BlackBerry a few weeks and really can't do without a phone coming up to summer and can't afford a new one on such short notice!

My Sprint Touch Pro's touchscreen slowly died today. And I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do. I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

Just bought a BB Storm 2, 9520. But i find something doesn't seem right, but not exactly sure if it's a problem or it's just the design of the phone. Please enlighten me on this.The touch screen of my phone doesn't seem "fix" like other touch screen phone. The feel of touching the BB screen is like pressing a button where it'll "depress" when u press the screen. Is this normal for this phone?

I adjusted the volume once or twice without lighting the screen, and after drying off stopped the music by removing the speaker jack again without lighting the screen. The device then went into my shirt pocket and I ate dinner then watched a movie but when I tried to do a little surfing before bed the screen wouldn't light up. I had seen it light up the buttons but take a few seconds for the display when the CPU was busy so I waited, nothing happened. I pulled the battery and tried again, nothing on the screen. But then I discovered that the touch sensor was still functioning, I could swipe to unlock and power down in the standard fashion just blind. I have examined the water stickers they are both white with bright red X's.
While writing this question (I am sure many of you already know this fact) I discovered that the display of my device is in fact three distinct functional parts. The capacitive touch screen still in operation on my device, the LCD image generator also still in operation, and the Led illumination source which for lack of a more accurate description is burned out.So my question is how could this occur, is it software or hardware, and what are my recourses?
I got an iPhone 5s what the screen is totally black, but the touch screen and other functions are still working, has been replaced the LCD but it keep doing the same way.

We have the Xperia Ray and it has been working fine for about 6 weeks until the other day when the screen stopped working and we are therefore unable to access the phone. We have tried to repair the software twice and that did not work and obviously we are unable to do the reset as not able to access the phone systems.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have this weird thing going on with my Atrix. I've had it for about six months and it was fine until now. What happens is that the touchscreen stops responding after it is turned off (pressing the power button) and back on. I can't unlock the phone, but the volume buttons are still responsive and I can still turn off the screen. If i reboot it (by removing the battery), it boots up just fine, with the screen working perfectly. It'll sometimes stop working when ending a call. The weird thing is that it doesn't happen everytime I turn off the screen, and when it happens, if I turn it off and back on it sometimes starts working again. It also seems to happen more frequently when the battery is low.

I was a M7 user for almost two years and I have never experienced that problem with it (even tried the same chargers on the M7, no problem) and it's quite annoying, to be honest. Although I appreciate the bigger battery and how it lasts longer, I like to use it at night while it's still charging (between the 40 - 70% range) and I find that while it is plugged in, the touch-screen is extremely laggy. It is very noticeable when swiping (it just randomly opens an app), when typing (it keeps opening recent apps), and of course when trying to play a game (it's just completely horrendous). The phone goes back to normal as soon as I plug the charger out.

After a day or two of the upgrade, I noticed that the touch left side of the screen drifted ... ie when I press * it dials 0. However the right side seems fine.
I tried the touch screen calibration but nothing happens when I tap the center of the top-left corner bullseye.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought my Nokia X3-02 in 2011. It worked well for 11 months and in the 12th month, its touchscreen stopped working. It was under warranty so I went to Nokia service centre and they changed the Touch screen Digitizer.It worked well for few days and meanwhile its warranty expired. Now it has the same problem and the touch screen doesn't work at all. So, I put the phone back to the phone and started using my other phone.after 2-3 days, I thought that I should take the phone to the service centre, so removed the batter and inserted the SIM card. I started the phone and touch screen was working fine. I thought, I am lucky as the touch screen is working now. But after few hours probably 3-4, the touch screen stopped working again. Quite weird behaviour.So, if i put the phone to off for around 1 day and starts using it again then the touch works and after few hours it stops working again. I went to service centre again and they said, they would firstly change the touch screen ( price INR 1500) and after that they could comment on the phone's behaviour.
UPDATE: I have updated the phone firmware to latest one. Touch works even after 5 hours but not the exact point of contact.. When i try to press Menu, it always activates the Address/exit button, so the wherever you touch it activates the right side of the area.
My dad got mad took my phone and started stomping on it with the heel of his shoe. I just now have gotten it back and at first glance, there is no damage. But after turning it on, the touch screen doesnt work. No matter how hard i press or anything, nothing happens. I do not have apple care warranty. So my question to you is do any of you guys know of a place that can fix this. The glass isnt broken, just the part that senses that you are touching the glass is.

A few days ago, i noticed that my screen started flickering whenever i used the trackpad to scroll through icons on the home screen.Later, I realised that it would suddenly go dim, i.e. the screen would still show the icons but so dim that the screen looks completely dark., at random intevals.Whenever I pressed the screen lock button at the top to blank it and then press it again to reactivate it, it would reactivate but again at a very dim setting.
