My friend just got a used blackberry curve today and downloaded BBM. He's been sending me a request but I don't receive it and vice versa when I send him one. We've tried saving my pin under my contact info on his fone and vice versa on mine and still nothing.

I have just got a second hand blackberry curve for Christmas and have tried to add people on BBM but it just says pending for authorization, my friends say that no acception request comes up. I have never used or had a blackberry before so I have no idea on what to do, the BBM was already set up by the previous owner. The Wifi work. I am on pay as you go.

When I send my friends a request by typing there pin they do not get it , but it comes up 'Pending' beside there pin and when they send a request to me I don't get it and it comes up 'Pending' on there screen beside my pin , it is definitely not there bbm because they have got lots of other friends on bbm !

My husband (who has an iPhone) has sent numerous event invites. They aren't showing up in S Planner or in my email. Yet I can send him an invite in S Planner and he will receive it on his iPhone.

I am trying to add my son to my BBM. He has the curve and I have the torch. We have tried several different options: scanning my pin on his phone through BBM, authorization took forever-was pending two days later scanning his pin on my phone through BBM,authorization took forever - still pending two days later deleted each other's contact using BBM and tried it all again. The pending authorization seems to be stuck and neither one of us receives each others request for authorization.

While I'm trying to add my friends PIN who lives in the same area as I am it's working. However, I have some friends in Thailand when I added their PIN they received my request and they did accepted it but the contact still on pending. I already try it many times it still on pending.
Moreover, during group chat my friends in Thailand can see my messages but I can't see their messages. Is there any possible explaination to this problem?
i have an issue trying to add a contact to BBM but always goes to pending. Tried all fixes Vodafone have gave me.Pulled battery that much phone was off more than on! Deleted BBM an reinstalled. Tried adding contact with PIN, barcode and email. Always goes to pending. Same happens when contact trys to add me. At my wits end with itUpgraded to new OS software (Via vodafone remote access) but still same problem. reinstalled new version of bbm but problem still exists. Called RIM with number vodafone gave me in uk but they say all fine ??

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy PIN seems to have got out into the public domain and I have received 20+ PIN requests today from users who I do not know and have no intention of accepting. Some I have deleted, others I have ignored, but they are still coming through. I haven't published my PIN in any public forum (facebook for example) and only actually have about 12 BB messenger contacts so have no idea why this has happened. One has got through and I cannot delete the contact from my list (I have the pin so will happily provide it as I have no idea who it is) The names of the users seem to be odd characters and graphics. block new PIN requests (I have tried via the firewall but it hasn't stopped it) and how to delete the mysterious contact (as I write this a request has come through!)
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recenly changed device from BB Curve 8530 to BB Bold 9900 and ever since then can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows only as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving them either. Tried sending PIN messages but I got a red x next to the message and the status says: "Service Blocked" .When my phone got lost, I was lucky that I just synchronized my device to my BB Desktop. Not only was I able to retrieve my contacts (phonebooks and BBM) but also ALL txt msgs and even call logs Anway, that happening, I assumed I don't need to re-send all my BBM friends invites since some were able to communicate with me. But for those who have deleted my profile (knowing it got lost) and were still on my contact were the ones affected. I tried deleting them and sent an invite only to find out that: I can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving any. (they also have the same pending for authorization notice on their end) When I tried to send them a PIN message I get a red x next to the message nd get the service blocked message.

" Registering: The verification email was sent successfully. Once your device receives the email, it will be processed automatically and registration will continue. If this is taking longer than expected, check you Junk mail folder for the verification email. If it is there, mark is as "Not Junk", and send the verification email again by using the menu. "

I recently added someone after my upgrade, but I am not able to receive sms from that 1 person.I can send sms, call and receieve calls from the contact. I've check the phone of the contact and everything seems to be going through and they havenot had any problems with anyone else and neither have I.I do remember at the very beginning, when the contact sent their first message, I was on a phone call and I saw and heard a notification that I hadan sms from them, but when I went to check it, it just disappeared and I have never received anything since. I need to get this fixed asap

I don't know the specifics on what kind of access, but I know her nephew used his ipod to have internet/messaging/emailing capabilities. One day after she returned home, I was out and my phone rang with a facetime request from her. Her contact information popped up on my phone. I answered and it was her nephew. I hung up and then received a text from "her" that said "Who is this."Â Â We figured out who we were and I told her that I was getting messages from him but it was coming up as her in my phone.
We also realized that she thought I had been ignoring her texts, as she was no longer receiving any texts from me. She talked to her family and they said they removed anyone there from her services, however she is still not getting my texts. We both use iPhones. She is getting texts from other people and I get her texts, but she does not receive mine. I have deleted her and re-added her, but still no luck. And when I re-added her, my phone recognized her and all of our old texts popped back in.
