I recieved BB Contancts from BB Chat and the problems come. I can't edit a contact, it will pop up "Contact updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed." or delete it. What must I do , to delete this contacts?desperate tough.
View 1 RepliesMy problem is I didn't want to sync my google contacts with my phone directory but it automatically did that when I downloaded applications from the android market (bec. downloading requires me to log in to my google account).... it freaks me out because I don't want to do that. My phone directory should be exclusively for phone nos. only, no email addresses. I want to delete some entries in my phone directory, how can i do that WITHOUT doing it one by one?

It seems that I end up with multiple copies of a contact and then the synch gives me an error code 0x80040fb3 - error encountered. I tried to delete all of the contacts in the address book and resych. After attempting to delete the contacts, there are seven versions of the same contact. I cannot open or delete the contact. I have tried deleting the address book from the Blackberry desktop but that did not work.

I already merged my contacts (which is full) and unsynced my contacts from the Google Account (gmail).
