View 10 Replies View RelatedI just got my tour and I had a 1gb memory card in my previous EnV Touch with all my pictures. I can't figure out how to get the pictures off the memory card to the internal memory so I can put the 2gb memory card back into my tour that it came with. I don't want to use Roxio because it messes up my computer and the Menu > Move doesn't move it to the internal memory!
View 5 Replies View RelatedOk, media card was working fine, had alot of work pictures stored on it and was becoming a hassle to hunt through all of them to find what I wanted. So, I inserted media card in computer and transfered what I wanted to a folder on the computer. Then I formatted the card using the computer. When I put the card back into the phone, the phone knows its there, but I must have wiped the card completely as none of the folders for video, pics, etc. are on it anymore. If I take a picture and go to find it, the media card does not even show up, just device memory.
Does anybody have a remedy for this? I already tried formatting the card in the phone but that didn't work. The phone is telling me in the memory options that 1.8GB is free, so I know it works, it just lost the folders or whatever........
I had changed in my camera options to "store pictures" on the sd card NOT "in device memory".A few days ago while taking some pics I maxed out the sd card and while trying to back out hit "ok" to something not sure what it was. but it changed the bb setting back to "device memory" and now when I try to change my camera options of "store pictures" back to the sd card it stays in "in device memory" and gives me no other option to use the sd card (which i did clean out some pics for space). It does show a folder where it is storing pics I take though but when I click the trackball to change from device memory it only shows

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe browser on this Tour sucks big time. Too tiny and magnifying it still doesn't make it big enough. Is there a program (opera?) to make it regular looking/size? I already have my fonts as big as they will go, but I'm an old chick and even with the glasses and my nose on the screen its a pain in the rear. Anybody have a suggestion for me? Sorry if this is posted 8 thousand times already, I swear I did a 'search' but don't understand any of the answers.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Tour OS to 5.0.0.419 yesterday and like it for the most part. However, I just found out a change I don't like. I tried to forward a MMS message to 11 people and get an error saying "Recipient list size exceeds limit." I have a group of people I forward stuff to. I don't want to go back to 4.7 because of something like this. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix or setting I may have missed?
Am I the only one having this problem? A search on Google displays nothing.I created a new group, and apparently only 10 people can be in a group at a time.
Just went from a storm 1 to a tour and I am loving it. I can't believe how much more app. memory I have!
However, I cannot get my tour device to show up in windows explorer. It connects and I can browse my media card. There is no drive in windows explorer for the device itself. I can connect to desktop manager and back-up my device memory so I know the computer can read my blackberry device. I upgraded the os with no problems.
I am running vista home premium with blackberry os 5.0 from sprint. I am on verizon. I do have mass storage mode enabled and all of those memory settings set to yes (auto connect, etc.). BBSAK and Blackberry Master Control Program see the device as well. I do not use roxio media manager and it is not installed with my desktop manager. It was too slow and clunky when I had my storm so I never bothered with it.
I just had a question about the micro size I can drop in this tour? I read and read like threads but didn't see anyone ask about this model(9630).
View 10 Replies View RelatedI plan on giving away my 9630 Tour because I got a new phone, so I was wondering, do I need to remove the SIM card from the device? I've never used the Tour out of the country and my phone line is already on my new phone. I've already wiped it clean and reinstalled a fresh OS 5.0.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhat's the better way of moving several GB worth of data from a smaller to a larger microSDHC card?
1. Can I simply copy the data on the old/smaller card to my PC (using USB mode) and then install the new/larger memory card in my phone and copy it back? This, to me, seems to be the swiftest route to take.
2. Or, is it better to backup the old/small card using PC Suite and then restore to the new/large card? If so, why? Based on prior experience with this method I'm not sure all data is moved...
3. Or, it doesn't matter? Thanks.
I have Sony Ericsson xperia neo V and I want to increase the external memory of my phone from 2gb to 8gb. My phone is compatible to extend up to 32 gb but I am not sure of it that does it support or not , I am worried that this will affect my mobile or could drain more battery, I want to expand memory of my phone memory but also want to ensure about its performance . Can some one tell me that what are the effects of expanding memory and are there any such classes of memory card.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm just wondering why my application memory is so low. When I go to App World and then My World and look at the memory bar, it says I only have 83 MB free. I only have two things installed - Imagining theme (751 kb) and the Spectrum theme (1.2 mb). I'm pretty sure that those aren't taking up 173 mb themselves.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm considering getting the Tour 9630. I have been researching this phone a lot all over the internet. I heard that the memory on this phone is not all that to brag about. I also heard that you can not save applications on memory cards or something like that. (Please clarify that for me if I misunderstood). My question is I have been wondering if the applications take up a bunch of memory. This will be my first blackberry and I am not sure on how much memory applications roughly take up.
I know there are probably random number figures out there, but apparently everyone thinks this phone is overall a great phone even without saving the applications to your phones memory. Excluding that is that the only thing you can not save to memory on it? Just a little FYI I'm new here so please bare with me as I get adjusted to this site. I looked around and didn't find anything regarding this. If you need anymore information or me to be more clear please let me know so you can assist me as much as possible.
Bought two new 900s from AT&T. Wife took a short video on UDH, and burnt up nearly a GB of her small 16GB card...so I'm on the hunt. I have a 32GB in mine, both cards were from our previous S3 Minis.
I have a 64GB in my Tab A, will the S5 handle a 64GB or even a 128GB?
I am looking to increase my memory, I am wondering what some of the apps are that I can get rid of. I have removed the games and some basic stuff, but would like to get in there and clean it out pretty good without screwing it all up.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI found a note (probably on xda developers, I'm not sure) that you can put 64 GB Micro SD inside Xperia Mini, but the phone will (among others) run VERY SLOWLY.
I don't want to try 64 GB, but I thought about 32 GB class 10 card (now I am using 16 GB, class 10). Should I expect any slowdown of my phone?
I know about going into options and checking it.But a few weeks ago I was playing around and found another place to check it. All I can remember it it was in the stock system not an app and that when you clicked on it. A progress bar popped up saying checking memory or something like that. The results broke down where the memory was being used. I have clicked and clicked till I have a blister on my finger. Will someone please slap me and wake me up showing where to look again.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI owned a Tour from Sprint. I recently called Sprint because the memory in my phone will significantly decrease within a few hours of resetting it. It drops anywhere from 20MB to 30MB really quick. They sent me another phone and realized they have a disclaimer that if they don't find anything wrong with the device they might charge $75. The apps I normally run is Twitter, Facebook, Email, Memopad, Meterberry, Weatherbug, Slacker, Pandora, SMS, BBM and AppWorld. I want to ask before I switch the device is if that memory problem is normal. I'm running the last OS update from Sprint.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI cann't find the updated maximum microSD memory card size for the Nokia 6303 Classic phone. All the spec's sites and documentation list 4GB as the maximum, but I'm using an 8GB card without any problems. (After downloading fireware update)
I would like to upgrade to a higher size either 16GB or better still 32GB. But before heading out and buying a card I would like to know if anyone has tried using these cards with this handset before successfully.
Verizon Tour 9630. I am not using an SD card and I'm trying to mount the internal memory as a drive in Windows, so that I can access and download pictures taken with the camera. When I plug it in, Windows mounts a removable drive but doesn't let me access it (insert card). Storage class driver is turned on (or off, makes no difference). BB desktop is installed, but doesn't help.
