When I click on the new contact the bb curve 8530 doesn't do anything.I also tried to add it by picking a dialed # but It doesn't do anything. If you know what to do please let me know.
View 1 RepliesI needed to setup a secondary email addy with RogersWireless yesterday and while I was there I got the bright idea to change my password for my primary account.This totally screwed my BB (no more email being received) sent me an email saying I needed to verify my password.tried to go into Setup to access my email settings..my BB freezes and I have to shut it down and re-start.Next bright idea...go to Messages Options then try to access email settings that way...message comes up and says "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider."Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy spending an afternoon chatting with Rogers but is there anyway to fix this without having to waste an afternoon?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.

I need to revalidate my e mail addresses but cannot get passed the blackberry id page as it either tells me "unable to log onto your blackberry id" or it locks me out saying the password is wrong, which it is not, I went and changed it as well, I revalidated on the website and was told "success" ..but still nothing. I cand send but cannot receive .. I am about to throw the thing out of the window!

Status reads authorization pending. Recipients don't receive requests. Text message request shows delivered status but buddy does receive it.

When I do that I am getting address book exception.To avoid this I need to get in to contacts, then go to options , select SIM book, in that add or edit contact and then select Add all to contacts.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrade to the 5.1.1 iOS I was not able to set individual ringtone to each of contact anymore.
All my contacts are using the same default ringtone when ever anyone calls.
When I go into contact and hit edit I can see the different ringtone already setup for each contact and when I click it I can hear it play just fine. Then I exit and went back to main screen and try to call the phone and it still using the default ringtone.

She was on a Vodaphone contract.I removed my Pay-as-you-go sim card from my old Motarola and fitted it, everything fine, 8900 up and running. I used to have an Iphone 4 32GB and I don't have issue on saving any contact info that I type in. Then after I upgraded to the new Iphone 4S-64gb and have my contacts transferred to my new iphone by the Apple salesperson. I am now unable to save any contact info to my new iphone 4S. I tried reformating my iphone and did a restore from my computer using Itune back to my iphone, and it let me save my new contact but after a while, it will not save any contact at all, even though I have plenty of available space on my iphone.I have called apple tech and was advised to have it replace from AT&T store, which I did, so I have the new replacement Iphone 4S -64GB. at first it seems to work fine but lately, it will not let me save any contact info whenever I tried doing it. it just won't save it no matter what I do? Ifor it is very annoying not to be able to save new contacts.

I am unable to add the new contact. As I try to add any new number through dialer or directly from add contact, it won't be visible in my contact book. But if I add through dialer, and dial it, It will be visible in my Recently dialed number, but not in the contact list.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI tried to add my friend's PIN on BBM during the service failure a few weeks ago, and although he didn't receive it, it was still marked as 'pending' on my bbm. Recently he tried to add my PIN, and the same thing happened. I can't scan his PIN because we don't usually meet up very often and I would never get the oppurtunity. Is there a way to delete any pending friend requests so that we would be able to try again, and if not, what should I do?
