Aug 28, 2011My bbm is working perfect, but all my regular texts are out of order. All the texts i hve sent are at the top of the screen, followed by the incoming texts at the bottom of the screen. It reads that every single incoming text is recieved at 1050am, even though my all read sent at the correct time. The time on the phone is correct so I'm sure whats going on. I've only had the phone 2 days and its been like this since I got. The phone is a blackberry torch 9810 and I'm with virgin mobile on a 3 year term. Also I'm new to the world of blackberries

Mar 19, 2012I look after our company besex server where we have around 20 devices. Last weekend one of our users (just happened to be the M.D.) got a problem where the date for incoming emails and SMS messages on his 9810 was showing as 17 May 2044.i have fixed the emails by deleteing the mail database on the handheld and resyncing, but how can I sort out the text message? Also it would be great if someone has an explanation as to how this date change could have happend as it was only playing up for a few hours before it fixed itself and as far as I know, our MD is not a time traveller

May 24, 2012I have been dealing with this problem for some time now. I am using a Torch 9810 (software v 7.0.0.261) and every few months I get a "JAVA ERROR", having no choice I do a battery pull.The phone boots back up, then all of my emails are gone! new emails are delivered to the device, however the entire archive of emails are gone.I have three email accounts, one on a BES, one gmail, and one standard pop.

Oct 10, 2012Is there any way i can restore deleted text messages from my blackberry torch 9810?Initially my phone settings were set to only save text messages for 30 days so lots of my messages were deleted from my phone. I then tried to restore them from a previous back-up but that ended completely deleting EVERYTHING leaving my text message panel blank. Is there any way i can get my text messages back?

Jun 21, 2012opying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

Feb 4, 2012I keep getting an "Error 102 Reload Software for furhter information [URL]" message. There is a Reset button below that and when I press it, it just tries to restart my blackberry. It will load to a certain point and then come back to this Error message. I went to the website it suggests and it tells me to go onto my Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload my software. Jan 23, 2012I was so excited to have a Blackberry device and my choice was the Torch 9810 mainly for 3 reasons.
1- The big screen.
2- The touch screen with the sliding keyboard.
3- Latest OS.
As I watched and read so many reviews about it and compared it to the Bold 9900 and the Torch 9860. The reviews for the Torch 9860 were somehow negative, and the sliding keyboard was a win over the Torch 9860. Bold seemed to be a good phone but the bigger screen was again what made me go for the Torch 9810.
For a new Blackberry user like me, I couldn't really figure out much differences between the three phones.
Unfortunately the Torch 9810 is not yet here in Egyptian market and I was about to buy a Bold 9900 till I noticed it would be locked to my carrier and then I changed my mind. I asked a family member to buy the Torch 9810 for me from the UAE and I finally got it one week ago.

Aug 20, 2012My brand New Tourch 9810 keeps on freezing up - I have to take the battery out in order to get it working again - I can not get onto Facebook, my BBM's doesnt go through, Sms' doesnt go through and when I tried to make a call it says - Call failed. I can not receive calls either - it goes straight to voicemail.
I can not send pics via BBM either - although it show send on my side - the receiver never gets them.
I really like Blackberry but are so frustrated that I want to get another make of phone!
