I was able to create folders on my Bold, but don't see that option on the Torch...is this true? A key function like that? I heard a trick if you use Landscape you can add, and I was able to then my shortcut bar disappeared so I deleted the new folder and now of course I cannot add another folder with that trick..

why there is no way to create a shortcut to a folder or a file inside a folder in your memory card, it seems to me a very important function and yet no one complains but me.I have an office file which I use daily which is saved in E:My filesaccountshomeofficeworddaily.docIt would be great to add a shortcut to that file on the desktop. or at least to that folder.Or lets say I'm listening to an audiobook which is in: E:My filesAudioAudiobookspersonalBorn to runCD5chapter 4.mp3Every time I want to listen to this I have to dig deep in the file manager.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried to manage the folders and subfolders in my Nokia E72 but I was not able to move the /Connectivity Folder to the /Root Folder, same thing with the /Games Folder. In my Nokia E71 the /Connectivity Folder is in the /Root Folder, the way I like it to be.
/Connectivity and /Games Folder is supposedly in the /Root Folder or otherwise there must have an option for us to move that, but there isn't.

The Quick Start guide that came with my phone has two pages expplaining basic functions. One box shows being able to Move/Delete Icons, but it only shows how to delete them. Use the long Touvh to move it to the trash can icon. But I don't want to delete them, I want to move or copy them to a personal apps folder.

How do you create an email folder on the E7? When I try to save a received email, the only folder offered is the Inbox and obviously there is no point in saving it where it is already. View 1 Replies View RelatedI had an iPhone 5s which I broke so I am using a friend's old Galaxy and am debating on getting the iPhone 6, but one thing I REALLY like about Android is the fact that it automatically places photos generated by certain apps into their own albums, in particular WhatsApp and Viber. On my iPhone these pics would just get intermingled in the Camera Roll album. I read another post that said this was the responsibility of the app developer to make that possible. Why they would make it possible for Android and not iOS?

The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. I am new to BB and have successfully set-up 2 of my email accounts. The 3rd email account that I am trying to set-up is a Godaddy hosted account (1 of the other 2 accounts I have set-up successfully set-up is also with Godaddy - - it is an "Exchange" hosted account whereas the one I am having problems with is a "pop' account).
The steps I am following include:
Go to "Internet Mail Account" Click on "set up another email account" Click on "other" Enter my Email address and password, and hit "Continue"
The message returns saying that "your device had a problem connecting to the server"?
I have called Godaddy and they referenced particular port settings but I cannot find anywhere in the "set-up" menu that I can set the ports. They also recommended contacting BB...
After many, many tries on my BB device, checking and rechecking my account settings on Godaddy and my Outlook client settings...I just cannot get this to work.
