the cam and video stopped working...the cam icon is disabled. it's just a black screen. the error says..cam cannot be opened..others apps are open..close other apps and try opening d cam again...i have restarted my phone how many times but still it's no use...i had the bb torch for almost 2months until the cam and video stopped working

View 8 Replies View RelatedI tried to convert some of my .avi,.mpeg4, h.264 and .xvid videos today so that I could transfer them to my n900. (As just dropping them on the phone doesn't work as they're only stored as "unreadable data files" then at least on my device.)It converts just fine.until 6-12 minutes into the video where the frame freezes. The audio may or may not continue. Does anyone know why it's like this and if it's "fixable"? or if there is some other converter that actually works?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOccasionally, when using the slow motion setting the video will record, play back in slow motion, but the fps will not be up to par - as in, it'll be set to 240 fps but will most definitely look choppier and not as smooth as I know it should be. A restart of the phone usually fixes this but there's no way to tell if it's not working until I record a video and play it back. Also, all the sample slo-mo videos online look so crisp and clear, while my videos tend to look pretty noisy, even with decent light.

Recently updated to V5.0.0.461 (Platform 5.2.0.42)My issue is when attempting to use my camera in the video format, I get "Failed to start recording"..I AM able to take pictures just fine. I have plenty of available memory as I have a 4 gig card with roughly 155 MB used. Obviously memory isnt the issue.
I havent seen any posts that state this issue or anything close as of yet. (Unless I missed it of course)My provider is TMobile - But the Software was from another provider. Overall, the phone has run fine on the 5.0.0.461 Software, a few things here and there but I have worked through them.
I just got my Elm phone today. I made a short video, downloaded the SE PC Suit and sync'd my phone to my PC using a USB. I then copied my video to my desktop and played it in Windows Classic Media Player. Now I have pretty much every codec update under the sun so was suprised to find that the video was extremely choppy. The audio worked fine but the video was extremely slow and it was as if I was watching picture slides as opposed to a video! When I tansferred the video to Vegas Pro there was no video at all, just audio. I could see the video slides in the programme but when I clicked play it was just black (with sound).
