I was trying to install an application I downloaded on my bb, but It kept on giving me the error message: Unexpected error: java.io.IOException: No working transports!...what do I do please? Secondly, I still have up to 60% free space on device and storage but the device always delay by giving the busy 'clock' icon everytime.What do I do to increase its speed?

I am having this problem with my camera on my c6-01 phone since some minor update before Anna. I dont know which update it was, but this is not important as I have updated to anna anyway (hoped to fix that by anna). But the problem persists.When I switch on the camera (by any method), it shows this error. I've deleted some videos and now, all of a sudden, as soon as I want to use the camera it opens on video mode, the screen went blank and give the message; "Unexpected error occurred. Power off the device and restart". I did that a few times, but the problem persists. I also went so far to take the phone back to the original factory settings, but to no avail. The next step was to download the firmware from the internet. After that, the camera worked and could take pictures, but as soon as I switched over to video camera. It is the same problem all over again. Can you please help me to rectify this problem?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was wondering how to resolve an issue I've been having with my Bold 9700. I'm placing it in this forum since it doesn't appear to be a model specific issue. When a geolocation request is made (BB Maps, GPS settings in options, etc) the device tries to use aGPS first. When it does I get messages in the device log saying it tried various transports (BIS,WAP,WIFI,TCP) and they all failed. It seems to be failing due to a dns issue. I've tried using it on my home wifi to rule out blocking of the DNS by my carrier (AT&T) and it still has the same issue. The device is on BESX with an IT Policy that is set to allow most everything and BIS.
The specific log entries are:
Geolocation START
Geolocation - Transport failed: BIS
Geolocation - Transport failed: MDS
Geolocation - Transport failed: WLAN
Geolocation - Insufficient Coverage
Then it cycles through a few times:
net.rim.udp open
net.rim.dns DnsQ 2
net.rim.dns DnsQ 2
net.rim.dns - RefQ (which I think means the query was refused)

Until it gets to:

I've taken out some log entries that didn't seem to be significant (tunnel opening, etc). GPS works fine after this fails but I'd like to be able to get a fix when indoors or in low coverage which doesn't seem to happen unless I use a 3rd part app that has it's own aGPS data.

I have just updated my blackberry phone from the blackberry pearl series to the curve 9330 phone. On the pearl I was able to download the backberry shortcuts for the major league baseball teams that I follow. On the curve that is running the OS 6.0 system when I download the same shortcuts and try to run them I get the java.lang error for anything dealing with baseball. My carrier is verizon. If I type the name of the team in the browser in the long form e.g. raysbaseball.com I have no problem going to the team home page. I just get the error when I try to use the shortcut. Could someone tell me what to do. I have java script enabled in the browser.
