Jun 1, 2012I have tried everything, as well as resetting my text msg, but I still don't receive any text messages, what else should I try and do?

Mar 2, 2011I was curious if anyone could help me with this problem. Any time someone sends me a picture, it won't go through. I have tried in both chomp and my default setting, and it won't work.All it does is keep ringing as if I have a new text. But when I click on it, nothing comes through. So then, I close it/delete the conversation and then it starts ringing again.

Dec 13, 2010I can't recieve texts. I get the alertand the flashing blue light, but when I check "messages" it says there are no messagesand then the flashing blue light stops. I can send texts, but can't recieve. checked the firewall -nothing is checked to block anything. I even disabled the firewall.

Jun 24, 2010I replaced 3 iphone 3g's with 3 new iphone 4's on my family plan. 2 of them are working just fine. The other one is unable to send or receive texts or mms. Anyone else having this problem? Or anyone that can suggest how to fix this? I wonder if I might have misstyped in the ime or SSID info on the at&t page incorrectly on that one unit. This is a non jail broken phone. Just a regular 3g.

Mar 31, 2015I have not had any trouble sending text just receiving them. I have only been notified by one person using an android that they had sent a text which I did not receive. All other text issues have been sent from iphones which my children have. I contacted Straight Talk which is my carrier and they told me that if I could send a text to myself and receive it then it was not my phone. I had a Samsung Proclaim previously and did not have any trouble. I have sent a text to myself as Straight Talk suggested and I received it fine. Both phones were/or are on the Straight Talk plan using verizon towers.

Apr 8, 2012I have a Blackberry Curve 9380. A few days ago I received a call and the "voice mail" image appeared in the top bar of my blackberry. I checked my voice mail, but the symbol did not go away. Since then I have not received any text messages. The text messages I send are getting through, but the ones other people send me aren't. Thinking my inbox might be full, I deleted a few conversations, to no effect. My phone is basically new and I haven't made any adjustments to it. I've drawn a picture to show what i mean: don't know if the voice mail and text messaging issues are related. I've gone a week without noticing that other people's text messages to me aren't getting through and I'm worried that I may have missed important messages. I have restarted my phone by taking out the barrery and the SIM card 3 times with no change. As has my contact (he has a BlackBerry Curve). I have checked my Firewall settings (they are switched off) and neither of us are in each others blocked list.

I can send the BBM message but I could not receive any BBM message from my contact after I resubscribe my Blackberry Internet Service yesterday. But one problem i'am having trouble with sending and receiving text messages. I have called att customer care numerous times and powered cycled my phone as many times as I can count but still nothing, I have also checked to see if the "service center" number is correct and it is, I still have no clue what it could be. When i send an sms text message and scroll up to the message it says "sent" and the date and time but i ask the recipient if he/she has received the text but still nothing.
