I can create a group in "Contacts" but when i go back in to try and add / delete members, i can't save. My previous cell was the 9630 Tour and I was able to do that with no issues. My 9810 was running the default OS (252 I think) and I was unable to edit the groups. I updated the OS thinking that might have been fixed but it doesn't look like it has.
I gave my 'old' Blackberry 8520 to my husband as I had upgraded. He put the sim from his Samsung phone in the BB. He is now unable to ' add new contact ' or edit any of his contacts. I had wiped the phone and taken it back to factory settings before I gave it to him. He does not have any of the messengers on it except BBM.
Contacts from Facebook are impossible to edit (names, numbers, e-mails) because the phone does not give me the option to. I only have the option to 'delete'.
I have a two year old BB Storm II.I have today been unable for the first time to add new contacts or edit existing ones.I have tried a battery pull twice![URL]
For the past few days I have suddenly been unable to edit existing contacts or add any new contacts on my 8520. I have tried backing up data and downgrading and upgrading the operating system and then updating back to current operating system but i still have the same problem. i just have 340 contacts ..
I will try again and hope I have entered all relavent information. I have a 8530 curve, I am having issues with my contacts list. I have tried to add and or edit. I am able to get to the screen and press edit and or add contacts, but after I click on them the phone does nothing.
I just bought this Bionic. I am familiar with the Droid OS. I have tried a factory reset, exporting contacts to SD card and importing, importing from Outlook, removing all contacts from GMail then syncing with Outlook, and just about every other thing I could find online to do. No where do I have the option of deleting all of my contacts and starting over.
after updates to ios 5.1.1...i can't add or edit my contacts and also can't take a photo at my contact lists. The '+' icon is suddenly disappear from my screen.
I am unable to add contacts or edit contact groups. I can create a new group and get as far as checking the check boxes in add contacts to group but it will not update.
what is group size of contacts to be added in a single group. I have created a group and trying to add up contact in that, but it has some limitations to no of contacts. Earlier I was using curve phone, in that there was not such limitation.
I am not able to add any new contacts on my BB curver 8900. It started this problem since two weeks. I tried removing the battery and all but still the issues is not solved. Also i think the phone got little slow.My BB Pin is 21921334.I am struggling now with my bb. i dont wanna loose it because i am so attached to my bb.I think there are only about 300contacts saved on the phone.
My Boss has 2 Blackberry phones , one is Blackberry torchand another one is Blackberry Bold 9000.Blackberry Torch is synced to company Blackberry server. The Blackberry Bold is not synced with the Blackberry server but has about 1000 contacts (200 in 1st contact folder and 800 and in the 2nd).when I check the contacts options I see 2 contact folders both named "Desktop". My Boss wants me to merge all these 1000 contacts with the contacts on his Blackberry Torch. When I back up the contacts from Bold to outlook only 200 contacts gets restored and the remaining 800 dont.
I am using following method to merge I intend to use following steps to merge the contacts from 2 phones
I backed up both the devicesI exported all the contacts from outlook to csv fileDeleted all the contacts from outlookSynced the contacts from Blackberry Bold to outlook but in this case only 200 contacts get synced and not the remaining 800.Export the outlook to csv againMerge the 2 csvs and import to outlook
I am switching from an old Blackberry Torch to a new Blackberry Torch, (same model), I backed up the old phone and I tried restoring the contacts onto the new phone but everything else like old texts, emails, etc are being restored EXCEPT the contacts;
I lost my bb 9800, i think i have data somewhere on bb server because when i login on BB protect website i can see that in archived back up details but i'm unable to restore it. And when i try to restore on my new 9810 it says "This data is already wirelessely synchronized with a remote service and cannot be restored by blackberry protect" only for contacts. And i've archived the device by mistake n now it shows "Remote admin commands are not available on archived devices".
I synced a google calendar with my torch but now I am unable to sync my outlook contacts and calendar. The outlook stuff is more important and I would like to remove the Google info but it has set itself as my default service on my device. How to get rid of google?
I just copied a bunch of contacts from my sim but they are all listed under (work). Is there a way I could edit this list on the computer or do I have to do it on the phone?
I tried to create groups on the native phone app on my LG G4. Although it allows me to create a new group, it only shows a single contact as an option for any new group. I have 1000+ contacts on the device, and the native Contacts app has them (when I click the Contacts tab, there they all are).
I was on an hour-long chat with t-mobile who kept telling me the steps for creating a group, which I know. Their final advice: hard reset. I just got the damn phone, so I'd like to avoid the stress of configuring 100+ apps, folders, contacts, etc.
FYI, I have one Exchange email account and a few gmail accounts, if that has any relevance. I just migrated from the Samsung Galaxy S5 on Verizon and I relied on groups a good amount.
I recently tried adding and then editing contacts but my phone froze. I turned the handheld off and after freezing for a minutes or so this error message appears: Application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app (220). I have uninstalled apps and rebooting hoping it would work but no luck.
