I have a blackberry Torch with data plan in the country I live. I'm on vacations and I dont have international roaming however I can use the BBM when I connect to a wifi network. I removed the sim card of my phone to check another sim card and, when I put it back, the BBM didnt connect anymore. I restarted the phone and the wifi connection however still I cant get it connected to BBM
View 1 RepliesI'm getting this problem where I can connect to WiFi the first time with no problem but once I disconnect and the phone sleeps, it can't connect to the network again and says "Unable to Start WiFi", I can't even get to Wireless settings because it can't start the WiFi.It's the same story with Bluetooth. It'll work once. If I turn the phone off and then on again, it will work once more but only ONCE before doing the same thing again.

What i've already done with no avail; Settings reset, factory reset, repair using pc companion, and reinstalling update using Sony Update Service. I've also tried manual flash to ICS but it didn't work. Lastly, I tried to flash back to gingerbread but also failed. Is their a bug issue in ICS wifi settings?

When I looked at it and turned on the Wi-Fi, it began to take a long time starting up with the "Turning On..." prompt on it. After a while though, it would then say "Error" or "Unable to Start". I've already Factory Reset the phone and that doesn't work at all. When I click on WiFi Settings and went into the Advance Settings, right below the MAC Address, it said "Unavailable".

When I first got it I tried to setup the email account but for some reason my email address was already there, it said all I have to do is type in my password, so I did. If I view "properties" of the file from within the file manager, it gives no indication what this file does. 9800 Torch on BIS through ATT
My 5 mohts old Torch is now having the problem with the camera. I seeked all the tip from all the forums but none of the solution does the trick.The camera application is saying that "could not start the camera,close other applications.." . The shutter (camera icon) on the screen is grey out and cannot move the cursor to it.The application log is saying: CAMTRTVF failed:status = 10.I have done the qucik reset, quick pull, but it will allow to one picture only once I took first photo then the same problem happes again.I have done the OS wipe out and the same problem still exists.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just arrived in Germany for a vacation. When I arrived in my room, I connected my Torch to the wifi and was able to use all my data functions. At this time, I had turned off the mobile network, and was strictly using wifi.
This afternoon I picked up a German SIM card and activated it on my phone.Now I cannot use my bbm or facebook, even if I turn mobile network on, or my original SIM card.
BBM and Facebook wont work on WIFI ,before I installed a loadtalkslite applications everything was working fine using WIFI emails facebook APP and BBM but after i remove the loadtalkslite app i wasn't able to use BBM and FACEbook or receiving emails via WIFI
