BB Torch :: It Is Not Turning On Only Show Red Light
Jul 30, 2012its just been 5 months and it has stopped working, the phone does not on, it just shows a red flash lite on the right hand corner and a battery with a red cross on it.

May 30, 2012I have Torch 9800 that won't turn on. My 9800 has the latest version of BB OS available (unless there was one released within the last 4 days) The red light only comes on when charged and goes on and off. When plugged into my PC it disconnects from the PC and then reconnects. Sometimes the charging battery symbol comes on and the blackberry loading screen after but the blackberry loading screen shuts off. I have tried a new battery and that is not the issue.
I read that you can do an OS reload but my BB is not showing as connected under my connections (the noise indicates a device has been plugged in)

Aug 23, 2011The situtation that my Blackberry Torch has recently been in is that the out of no where, the Blackberry will freeze up. The LED indicator will be lit up for a short period of time, for a total of two times. After that, the system reboots itself. During this problematic process, I cannot use the buttons at all to try to stop it or do something else.I have reinstalled the OS Software and have done a hard reset during the red LED indicates.I don't have warranty becase I have purchase this off my friend after his warranty was over and he got himself another phone.

Apr 7, 2010ive played around with all the settings, etc. The only lights being displayed on the ld-4w gps module are the green light and the blue light. the gps light is not turning on. it is all paired with the nokie 5530 phone.Ovi maps is installed, all the firmwire is updated.
When i start the application 'Location' (the one thats included with the phone), it says searching for GPS devices. Then it says 'Waiting for gps', then (nearly instantly) it shows 'GPS Not Availible' and exits. After that it displays 'No Connection'.I have tried by going into my back garden and doing this but it still does not work.
However, when I use ovi maps and type in a route, it displays 'Waiting for GPS' for a long time, then it does not connect either, but then it also asks for an internet connection, which i dont have as i dont have any credit on my phone, and i also dont have wireless internet.If this is the problem, then why doesent the gps light on my ld-4w even blink?Please help, i need this GPS module up.

When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. May 12, 2010I have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger.
Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.

May 11, 2012I own a Blackberry Torch 9800. This phone is on AT&T service. My problem is that my phone keeps turning off - with no prompt or warning. Usually i'll do a battery pull, wait around 10 minutes, and reinsert. After this it works again for a short period before turning off again.

Although when I attempt to turn it on, the normal red LED lights up, and stays on for about 2 seconds but then there is another LED that lights up.
