My blackberry curve 8520 will not turn on it shows a red light flashes 2x then my keypad lights an thats it nuthing else happens please help me i havent got a usb cable so cant use blackberry desktop manager

View 1 Replies View Relatedive played around with all the settings, etc. The only lights being displayed on the ld-4w gps module are the green light and the blue light. the gps light is not turning on. it is all paired with the nokie 5530 phone.Ovi maps is installed, all the firmwire is updated.
When i start the application 'Location' (the one thats included with the phone), it says searching for GPS devices. Then it says 'Waiting for gps', then (nearly instantly) it shows 'GPS Not Availible' and exits. After that it displays 'No Connection'.I have tried by going into my back garden and doing this but it still does not work.
However, when I use ovi maps and type in a route, it displays 'Waiting for GPS' for a long time, then it does not connect either, but then it also asks for an internet connection, which i dont have as i dont have any credit on my phone, and i also dont have wireless internet.If this is the problem, then why doesent the gps light on my ld-4w even blink?Please help, i need this GPS module up.
it may have gotten wet,i dont know if that affected it.4s light on the back is on wont turn off, and the icon for sound will not go off the screen?

I have Torch 9800 that won't turn on. My 9800 has the latest version of BB OS available (unless there was one released within the last 4 days) The red light only comes on when charged and goes on and off. When plugged into my PC it disconnects from the PC and then reconnects. Sometimes the charging battery symbol comes on and the blackberry loading screen after but the blackberry loading screen shuts off. I have tried a new battery and that is not the issue.
I read that you can do an OS reload but my BB is not showing as connected under my connections (the noise indicates a device has been plugged in)
I have the torch 9810 the phone just died. It wont turn on, the red light wont turn on nothing I left it in the charger for a little while and nothing. Is there anything that I can do or is the phone dead?

The LED indicator will be lit up for a short period of time, for a total of two times. After that, the system reboots itself. During this problematic process, I cannot use the buttons at all to try to stop it or do something else.I have reinstalled the OS Software and have done a hard reset during the red LED indicates.I don't have warranty becase I have purchase this off my friend after his warranty was over and he got himself another phone.

When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. 1 week ago i walked in the water with my mobile.. Nothing worked anymore. I took my mobile to a telefone store and they have repaired my mobile. Only i've got a steady blue led light and no keyboard light only when i start my blackberry on, the keyboard gives light. If i get other notifications the blue led light still gives light and the red light is blinking that i have something.

I have turned off every notification I can find, email, text, facebook etc. I have deselected the LED option ( changed to none) I cannot figure how WHY this light keeps blinking. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger.
Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.
Have had my 8530 for two months now and today I noticed that anytime I push a button on my phone for any reason I get a steady red LCD light. The LCD goes dark when the backlight goes out. The battery is charged and I can make phonecalls. I don't have any outstanding messages and have used the reconcile now option just in case. I scoured the net looking for a solution and the only thing I can find is to do a battery pull or disable the LCD. I definitely don't want to disable it, and I ran across one person who posted that when she did a battery pull that her BB didn't turn back on afterward--so I'm REALLY hesitant to try that!
I haven't upgraded anything on the phone. I was listening to Pandora when this seemed to happen, but I use Pandora every day.Any suggestions/thoughts? I'll do the battery pull if I have to, but I'm hoping to find other solutions.
I installed the BB desktop manager for Mac yesterday, and this morning connected to remove some apps, create some space, and install all the updates. In the process of this it mysteriously just stopped doing anything right after it said "database cannot be backed up" and shut off. Now it's flashing red twice, pausing for about 2 seconds, and repeating the flashing. I pulled the battery and sim even though I was sure that wouldn't do anything, plugged it back into my laptop, plugged it into the wall both with and without the battery, and nothing has changed. The desktop manager doesn't not recognize the device at all.
I'm using a Curve 8330. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed totally? Also, and I know this is a long shot, but what are the odds that I can restore the device and save the data that's on it?
I got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.
My phone asked to reboot now or later so i clicked now. I left it overnight and now it is still not turning on but the red light keeps flashing.
