Since I updated my OS to 7.1 I cannot compose any emails, I cant reply to them but cant make a new one, also I cannot make playlists anymore? Also cannot send pictures to people via BBM or email.Everything worked fine before this upgrade!
View 5 Repliesmy Blackberry Curve 8530 CANNOT compose new emails: it can reply to emails that people have sent me, it can compose emails to people whose emails I already have saved, yet if I try to "Compose Email" and enter a new address, it can only "Save Draft." Not only that, I can't email or MMS any of my photos either-- either TO a new email, or a preexisting contact/email--the only way to get them off of my phone is if I "send to Facebook," or copy them to my computer using a micro-USB cord.A battery pull has NOT worked. I've also already come across people posting on other sites about the same problem (and there seems to be a similar issue with the 8520). I've come across other websites suggesting that the problem may be to an issue with the OS (I'm currently on v5.0.0.654 Bundle 1108, Platform 4.2.0.298; I certainly haven't downloaded/installed any new Apps since this happened), and that downgrading/changing to a different OS may be necessary to fix/troubleshoot the issue, I just don't recall which website that was, nor do I know how to change the OS on my own (if I remember correctly, it just updates itself automatically, which probably would explain why this seemed to happen out of the blue).

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my iTunes software to 10.6 or whatever the newest update was and since then, I have been unable to sync all my playlists onto my iPhone. The Top 25 Most Played, Recently Added, and 90s Music won't sync to my phone. All the regular playlists are syncing just fine and 2 of the Smart Playlists I have are also syncing just fine. I've tried recreating the playlists but it still won't work.

i have been told that i shouldnt delete songs from my library even if i have converted them to my iphone device on the pc cause next time i will syns my ihpne to pc the songs will be deletred from my iphone as well.the list in the library under the music map gets too long so i want to organize those songs in different playlists.so my question is how do i do that?i tried to go to file and click on new playlist but that playlist shows up in the end.first u have library then store,iphone device,shared,genius ant then in the end playlists.so that playlist shows up here.so i wonder that is not under the library..so is those playlists a part of the library?i mean if i download a song here in the playlist category and not under the music map under the library will it be saved here when i convert that song to my iphone device.is this the same as library?cause i taught if i wanna make a playlist in the library it will show up under the library..

I have update to this new OS few days ago and since then I have this constant problem, cannot read the new sms, or compose new sms since everything gets back in the last thread. When I review emails in the internet account and then compose an email, the blackberry now populates the send using field with the default corporate account. That's new behavior of the BIS according to my ATT support contact. I can't go back to the previous behavior where it just populated the send using field with whatever account I was reading at the time. Anyone know of a workaround? It's a pain to change the send using field every time I write an email from my internet account.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading iOS, every time I try to compose an email through mail I'm finding the screen "bounces" whilst typing. Also when I get below the level of my keypad I can no longer see what I'm typing. I try scrolling the screen up but as soon as I let go of the screen it returns to its previous position. The keypad no longer hides either so I can review more of the email at once. I've checked my gmail up and that still functions perfectly so feel it must be an iOS problem.

Wheni compose an email the first two letters of his email pop up.Exmaple. in the compose an email field I want to write an email to GD-George Dunn so i type GD and the email address of a deleted contact Gemma Dirosso (Gdirosso@gail.com) pops up first. I had deleted her on my bb and outlook yet only her email address pops up. I am not able to compose a android messge in Motorola XT925 device. My code is as follows:

Feels like Blackberry is turning more into Microsoft than apple. Instead of quality improvements, we get more powerful hardware that runs slower with unpredictable feature availability and an eye for $ for sake of purely $. FWIW, I upgraded to 9650 from the original Bold with AT&T in late 2008. I am nervous about how slow the 9650 will be in 2 years if its this slow out of the gate.
