After updating my BB Torch 9800 from software Version 6.0 Bundle 1907 to Software Version 6.0 2647 I have been receiving an 'uncaught exception UUID must be 36 characters long' error message ever time I reboot. How do I correct this?
View 2 RepliesMy blackberry App World has started to generate the error: UUID Must Be 36 Characters Long.
I know that it it App World for the following reasons:
1) Absolutely no changes have been to the phone.
2) App World loads when the phone is rebooted (battery removal and replaced). However, when it is selected it will not display.
3) When I uninstall the application the error goes away.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the software has not resolved this issue.
I have begun receiving the following error message when turning on my phone..."Uncaught Exception: UUID Must Be 36 Characters Long"I have not installed any new applications, and I am unable to find information about this error on the web.

I am on sprint and running .419. I can make phone calls and everything, but just curious what that error message means.

It must've happened a couple of times before without the error appearing because a couple of times in the last week when I hit menu I noticed "playing now" was missing, even though I was in the middle of an album.
