BB Torch :: Uncaught Exception: Index 31 >=31 "error 603"
Sep 19, 2010
I have a new Torch, one week old.Screen freezing up often, many icons don't work by touch screen or scroll button. Have gotten a few error messages and rebooted (take out battery) numerous times:"uncaught exception: Index 31 >=31" "error 603" (think was the number, i am paraphrasing)"uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_messaging_app (110) is not responding; process terminated"blackberry instant message app process terminated" paraphrasing. The icons that I cannot get to work include: "messages"(e-mail), "text messages", "browser"....Still, does not work. Some items do work upon reboot ("contacts", "camera", "clock", "google apps" including e-mail via that....)
My phone ran out of battery so i charged it, once the phone turned on i was prompted with a message that said "Uncaught exception: Index 4>= 4" and ever since this has appeared i can't read my messages or create text messages
I recently updated my OS from the factory 6.0 Bundle 5xx (?) to Bell's 6.0 Bundle 2391. Since doing that, I can no longer receive my text messages. Regular messages and everything else seems to work fine, but when I select "Text Messages" I receive: "Uncaught Exception: String index out of range: 31".I have wiped and re-activated on our BES, and although my Text Messages worked for a day, today after someone left a VM, I can no longer get back into my text messages. A battery pull does not help. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?
OK my quick launch weather is not working i tried everything, It installed successful it says but after it says that this popped up Uncaught exception: Module with handle [5068] and index [0] has no application entry point. I uninstalled then reinstalled it,, battery pulled nothing is working. Im on 4.5.0.186 metro pcs 8330m curve

It won't let me access anything and then the screen just turns black like it is going to sleep.I know it's a buggy app, but I can't press any buttons to get to the home screen, or anything like that.I've tried pulling the battery and basically hitting every button possible to try and get it figured out..

My phone shut down suddenly and when re-booted showed "Uncaught exception: index 16 > = 16". My Outlook email folder is gone, and I can't open my other email folder. I can't check voicemail either. Have tried re-booting several times (including removing battery) but no luck.
Anyone knows what this is and what's causing this error code to pop up? i'm starting to get this error message at least once a day when i do a battery pull when i'm installing new apps and/or themes to my Bold.
I am unable to use my phone, get to my contacts, etc. This message is on the display. I can remove the battery and re-insert and it goes away, but the moment I touch any key, the message is back!! I NEED to use my phone.
My Tour has started to give me trouble yesterday with opening my emails on the main display. When I click the message tab I am given a prompt titled: Uncaught Exception: Index 98 >= 98 . I am not sure what caused this or how to fix it.

Yesterday when I tried to open my e-mail this message appeared : 'Uncaught exception: String index out of range: -1'. Sometimes it does open, but it's very slow and I can't delete e-mails.
I'm running a nextel 8350i version 4.6.1.313 (459) on boost using the workaround posted on this forum and other places (combined3.ipd service books, etc) and have had the same setup for about 6mos with no problems. last night after getting red Xs next to outgoing MMS messages, I did a battery pull. upon startup, I got this error message. Uncaught Exception: Index 18 >= 18
I am currently unable to send/receive MMS messages and there is no MMS option under my message folder or MMS option after bringing up the BB menu when viewing a contact. I have done approx 10 batt pulls, reinstalled the service books, hooked the phone up to desktop manager and checked for updates, with no change. every time the phone is rebooted I still get the same error message. phone calls still work fine, as well ubertwitter and the gmail app. I have instango on the phone as well, along with the ESPN app, opera mini, accel golf scorecard, and quickpull, although none of the above apps have been used in days.
When ever I take backup of my blackberry 8900 I get a message displayed on screen after the back up is done saying "Uncaught exception: module with handle [7424] and index [0] has no application entry point
Whenever I click on the Blackberry Messenger icon it will not open and displays the pop up error 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception'.

I have a problem with my BB Blod 9700 last night, my phone is keep rebooting with a message: "uncaught exception index 18>=18" and then it was freezed at a white screen with message: "app error 523"; i took out the battery and reboot it, however, same situation occured again,
