View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my OS from the factory 6.0 Bundle 5xx (?) to Bell's 6.0 Bundle 2391. Since doing that, I can no longer receive my text messages. Regular messages and everything else seems to work fine, but when I select "Text Messages" I receive: "Uncaught Exception: String index out of range: 31".I have wiped and re-activated on our BES, and although my Text Messages worked for a day, today after someone left a VM, I can no longer get back into my text messages. A battery pull does not help. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?
Device info:
Carrier: Bell
Model: BlackBerry 9800, 6.0 Bundle 2391 (v6.0.0.534, Platform 6.6.0.200)

This message comes up on my phone now. I am unable to remove it unless I remove the battery. It comes back up again when I start opening voicemail messages.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running a nextel 8350i version 4.6.1.313 (459) on boost using the workaround posted on this forum and other places (combined3.ipd service books, etc) and have had the same setup for about 6mos with no problems. last night after getting red Xs next to outgoing MMS messages, I did a battery pull. upon startup, I got this error message. Uncaught Exception: Index 18 >= 18
I am currently unable to send/receive MMS messages and there is no MMS option under my message folder or MMS option after bringing up the BB menu when viewing a contact. I have done approx 10 batt pulls, reinstalled the service books, hooked the phone up to desktop manager and checked for updates, with no change. every time the phone is rebooted I still get the same error message. phone calls still work fine, as well ubertwitter and the gmail app. I have instango on the phone as well, along with the ESPN app, opera mini, accel golf scorecard, and quickpull, although none of the above apps have been used in days.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Bold 9700 with AT&T. First, my problem came after I installed some apps. Then, I didn't have the BB logo next to the 3G. Next, weird errors like: uncaught exception: padding byte is out of range. After that, I could not connect to the internet. It just said "Requesting". I tried numerous battery pulls, registering the host routing table and a security wipe of the entire phone. My phone basically says I don't have a data plan and I don't even have the option to setup personal email on my phone. Currently, I can connect via browser but can't BBM or use any apps that require large amounts of Data.
