May 18, 2011I recently updated my OS from the factory 6.0 Bundle 5xx (?) to Bell's 6.0 Bundle 2391. Since doing that, I can no longer receive my text messages. Regular messages and everything else seems to work fine, but when I select "Text Messages" I receive: "Uncaught Exception: String index out of range: 31".I have wiped and re-activated on our BES, and although my Text Messages worked for a day, today after someone left a VM, I can no longer get back into my text messages. A battery pull does not help. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?

Dec 29, 2011I have purchased BB torch 9800 just 5 months back. some 2 months back it started telling out of memory error and my mobile did not boot at all. then i took the same to service center. There they have reloaded the software and gave to me without any additional cost. There after rebuilding my application and data took me more than 3 days.
again after 3 months i am getting same kind of problme my device is busy in doing some work. i do not know what is the reason.

Feb 23, 2010When emailing, or more importantly replying to emails the signature is placed at the very bottom of the email string. The signature is not placed at the end of the body of the message. If this doesnt make sense to all of you let me go further - if you are sending a reply to someone, your signature will show as the last line or lines on the message instead of after your main text and before the original email.
This happened to me when I had a BB 8820 and now with the BB 9700 I am starting to notice it. What puzzles me is that it does not happen all of the time. Has anyone done any testing with different mail servers? Is RIM working on a resolution for this issue? I think that it is great that people have mentioned using auto text and so on but thats not a solution, that is a work around.
Nokia :: Rebuild SMS Index N96
Feb 9, 2010While using Nokia's Communication software, at a certain point it hanged.Had to terminate it in task manager. Once restarted many SMS disappeared from the phone.Luckily, exploring folders contents, the messages are still there, what I think happened is that the SMS index got corrupted.Is there a way to force the rebuild the SMS index ?
