I have a BlackBerry Curve 3G with the 5.0 OS and i want to update my phone up to 6.0 and I can't.
Reasons why are 1 i can't do it with the desktop manager because it says i need an active BlackBerry subcription, and 2 I've tried the software download install and deleting the Vendor.xml file, and using the Loader file, and the OS just doesn't appear. I don't want to break my BlackBerry so I've stoped trying to sort it.
I'm unable to update my software in iphone4s, when i'm connected to wifi it says unable to connect but in general i have a message that update available up to 190mb connect to wifi to update.please provide a solution

I was trying to update my X10 for pinch zoom It says certification error and the updates getting disconnect. I checked my system firewall and my modem firewall too everything is perfect. And I tried with my friend's machine there too I am getting same error.
I contacted Sony Ericsson customer care regarding this, they replied go and update ur phone in service center. Too bad they didnt tell me why I was not able to update my phone.
The Sony PC Companion has started showing that an update is available for my xperia pro as soon as i connect it. I happily selected the update option and on the first attempt it downloaded the update which took more than 10 mins in my case. Then it reboots the phone in the flash mode i believe and when it's time to install the update, simply comes out with an error that no update is available for your phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem when trying to update my Nokia 5230 using the Nokia Suite.Please note; my phone is plugged in, there is an update for my phone as the last time it was updated was when it made manufactured (nov 09). The USB mode is on 'PC suite'. I have downloaded all the latest versions of the Nokia Suite.
When I click 'Update Phone Software", it takes me to the updater. When it comes to the 'Searching for a connected device', it hands for about 1-2 minutes, then says "Unable to find device".
when open setting>general>software update, the phone check for an update but a message appear " Unable to check for update, an error occurred while checking for a software update " i'm currently using ios 5.0.1, what's the solution for that problem?

i try to update it through mobile updater itself. But everytime its showing ' No update available'.
I have been trying to update my X6 to the latest firmware via Nokia Software updater as well as FOTA, but have been unsuccessful. Find attached an image of the error which is being thrown up by the Nokia Software updater. I have run the NSU couple of times today and each time it picks up from downloading the software(@117Mb of 152 Mb). Once the download is complete, it throws the error.
The FOTA(Applications>>Software Update) does not allow me to update the firmware, it just pops up a window telling that I need to update via PC. Trying to update via Phone Management has also been unsuccessful, as it tells there is no software update available now..Has anyone out there got a similar issue?

I did it thinking it would improve my customer experience and can now no longer use my USB to connect to my car Bose system or any other device. It is clearly about the yupgrade to IOS5 as any 4S phone that I try that has not been upgraded works fine. Apple TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY for the problems and have suggested I resolve it thought Bose and Ford and every other third party supplier.
