Apr 21, 2010I have updated my Nokia 5800 and ever since when I try to go on the internet via Orange it won't let me. I can't even use or set up Wi-fi. When I go into settings and connectivity there is no option to select or search for WLAN. When I try to add new access point it tells me that my network destination needs to be set first.Any ideas what I need to do please?

I can access the net using a WLAN without any problems but can't access the internet using orange.I've been offered this advice from Orange Technical services:1. Accept the Orange Software update (sent via text) - done2. Accept Orange GPRS WAP services update - done3.Select Orange GPRS via 'desintionations' as the default access point - done4. Select it again via the browser - doneOrange has said that the above is all they can offer and is convinced my brand new handset is faulty. I'm not too sure about their diagnosis, as I'm convinced it's a configuration problem.

Jan 21, 2010I've bought a N97 mini and I'm very happy with it.However in the past week until now, I can't connect to the internet unless i connect via wireless lan.With GPRS i can't.I open the browser, it shows me on the top left corner the phone is trying to make a connection and then hangs up after 3seconds.
1 - I've check the definitions with my service provider
2 - I have tha latest firmware
3 - I have made a hard reset..

Dec 6, 2011I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

I found that it consume quite a lot battery when I enable auto update, usually I need to recharge my phone every 2 days. Therefore, I turned off all automatic update includes sync of email. The problem is that my phone still keeps on asking me 'Select Connection' if I want to connect using Wifi, WAP or Internet. First of all, I do not know which app requires the connection. I have set up MS Exchange, Gmail and a POP3 accounts.The problem is that my phone keeps on asking me 'Select Connection' if I want to connect using Wifi, WAP or Internet. First of all, I do not know which app requires the connection. This is definitely a UI improvement! How can I know which app requires the connection!Let's assume it is my mails accounts which try to connect (I have played with the Control Panel / App Manager). The issue is I cannot find how to tell my mail accounts I want to force the connections to Vodafone Internet 'Contract Internet'.
It seems that I can only select the connection point for my first email account and not for the remaining ones.. Is that correct? That's a bug.

Dec 12, 2011I have a Blackberry Bold 9780, and I can not connect to the internet through WiFi. I am trying to access the internet through a WAP2 secure router. I have entered the correct password, and per review of the router log, it has assigned an IP address to my phone. However, when I try to verify the IP address on my phone, the IP address is 0.00.0.0.
When I try to access teh interenet on my phone, the error message i get is that my phone is unable to connect to the interent.Since I am traveling from home, I have truned off the data service on my phone,, but I should still be able to access the internet through the WiFi service.

Originally it was telling me there was a communication error, now it's saying unable to connect to internet, please try again later. When i try to go on the internet is says 'there is insufficient network coverage', but i do have signal to make phonecalls. My blackberry app world icon has also totally dissapeared, and i have searched for it but cant find it anywhere! I have simple mobile and I called them up and changed the APN settings 6 times and it never worked. I tried downloading the settings and when I click on simple mobile it says cannot download. But when I click on t-mobile it says successfully installed but I still dont have it. Nothing works and I am desperate here. It just stopped working out of the blue.
