i have just got a blackberry 8520 and for the first day the internet was working perfectly but after 1 day it wouldnt connect to the internet saying "A communication failure has occurred. The server may be busy, please try again later. If the porblem persists contact your service provider".

1 - I've check the definitions with my service provider
2 - I have tha latest firmware
3 - I have made a hard reset..
I can connect to a wifi network but I'm not able to look something on the internet. With a mobile provider it's possible.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

I found that it consume quite a lot battery when I enable auto update, usually I need to recharge my phone every 2 days. Therefore, I turned off all automatic update includes sync of email. The problem is that my phone still keeps on asking me 'Select Connection' if I want to connect using Wifi, WAP or Internet. First of all, I do not know which app requires the connection. This is definitely a UI improvement! How can I know which app requires the connection! How can I know which app requires the connection!Let's assume it is my mails accounts which try to connect (I have played with the Control Panel / App Manager). The issue is I cannot find how to tell my mail accounts I want to force the connections to Vodafone Internet 'Contract Internet'.
It seems that I can only select the connection point for my first email account and not for the remaining ones.. Is that correct? That's a bug.

I have entered the correct password, and per review of the router log, it has assigned an IP address to my phone. However, when I try to verify the IP address on my phone, the IP address is 0.00.0.0.
When I try to access teh interenet on my phone, the error message i get is that my phone is unable to connect to the interent.Since I am traveling from home, I have truned off the data service on my phone,, but I should still be able to access the internet through the WiFi service.

When i try to go on the internet is says 'there is insufficient network coverage', but i do have signal to make phonecalls. My blackberry app world icon has also totally dissapeared, and i have searched for it but cant find it anywhere! I did try and update the app world a few weeks ago so im thinking this might be related.

I have simple mobile and I called them up and changed the APN settings 6 times and it never worked. I tried downloading the settings and when I click on simple mobile it says cannot download. But when I click on t-mobile it says successfully installed but I still dont have it. Nothing works and I am desperate here. It just stopped working out of the blue.
