When receiving a group message, this latest version (5.0.1.41) of BBM no longer notifies me with the appropriate assigned group icon. It just shows the same icon notice for all groups.
View 1 RepliesThe ringtones I have assigned to several of my contacts no longer work when the people call me. The tones are in my itunes and stored on the iphone, but will the only tone working for the contacts is the default tone. They worked fine until a few weeks ago, and I have done all sorts of trouble shooting but nothing has worked. Apple said the files for my custom tones were corrupt and I had to fix that which I did. However, even if I assign a regular tone i.e. Marimba, it still will not ring if the default is another tone.

I'm using BBM 5.0.1.38 on my 9700. Since then, my BB Group notification icon for every group always display the same icon instead of specific icon that I set it to each of group.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWith Do Not Disturb turned on, all of my notifications are kept quiet, screen doesn't turn on, no vibration - except one app. Facebook still comes through. I keep my S6 on vibrate at night, so it's not that big of a deal (other than draining battery). But the blue flashing LED is annoying and lights up the whole room. Is there anyway to set Facebook quiet hours or something similar? Or set it so it will play nice with Do Not Disturb? I also think the Google Photo assistant does the same. I don't really care if Google has put together a slide show of my vacation in the middle of the night.

Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.

This has just started happening a few weeks ago,but my phone no longer rotates(yes I have verified that rotation lock is off). When I test the gyro with an app I found on the store, it is just shaking even though is flat on a table. The only thing that maybe has caused the issue is gestures beta?

When I receive a multimedia group text, the texts only show the originators number and not the other Group numbers.
This phone is a SAMSUNG GALAXY 6, using Android 5.0.2
Other suggested truning on Group Conversation or Group Messaging in the settings , but that option does not appear.
The instructions I received are below , but like I said, it did not show up on the settings.Is there a difference in the Android versions that would cause the menu to be different or the setting to located somewhere else?

I've like to try Android Pay. So I set everything up and turned on NFC in Advanced settings, as well as the Android Pay setting. However, I don't see the NFC icon. Did the is icon go away with the Lollipop update? What am I missing. I tried using Android Pay at the grocery store today and it did not register with the POS terminal.

Before on the 9700 when you received a text, e-mail whatever tone was assigned to that contact came through. I guess that feature is gone.

It doesnt work...... I assign a pic of the contact and a tone but when they ring me the pic shows but the tone is set to a default which is the nokia original tone and not even a tone ive chosen, ive updated the software and its still the same.

My xDSL provider provides me with a wireless router which I have been using for ten years with no problem. I get 5 public IP addresses and when they are all assigned to MAC addresses I simply restart the xDSL modem to connect a new device. The following happens when I connect to my xDSL WiFi connection.
1. I have to enter the WEP security code (why doesn't Satio remember this so I don't have to enter it each time?)
2. It gives the message 'Connecting to my Wifi node'
3. It gives the message 'Checking internet connectivity' (I am assuming it is checking to see if the IP address is assigned)
4. It tries to go to my homepage www.google.com (shows a blank screen)
5. Then it times out and gives me an error message "Internet: No gateway reply" HOW DO I SEE WHAT IP ADDRESS HAS BEEN ASSIGNED BY MY WIFI NODE?

I guess this situation accured after I erased everything on my iPhone and installed backup from my computer. I searched everywhere on internet but couldn't find anything, and then this idea came up; I deleted all the assigned rigntones, created a new backup on my computer then deleted all contacts and installed the backup but still when I assign a ringtone to a specific contact it's still ringing default ringtone when she calls.. Btw I also checked for duplication errors, there is only one for each contact..
