BB Bold :: 9780 Inbox Icon Has Disappeared / Can't Send Or Receive Messages
Aug 23, 2011Ive recently bought the bb bold 9780, it was working fine the first week. Now all of a sudden, when i switch the phone on, java script error msg's appear, also which is most frustrating,, my inbox icon has disappeared & i cant send or receive messages. I've even taken it to an o2 guru, they were baffled an hadnt seen it before.

BB Torch 9800 :: Unable To Send / Receive Emails Through MSN Account
Aug 12, 2010Let the guy in the store "sync" with Desktop Manager. No link through enterprise server until I can get to office computer but that's ok. I am trying to work through MSN account. But it won't receive emails, it won't send emails and it won't let me change the set up.
When I go into setup, it asks for the user name and password. I use my msn user name (inclusive of the @msn.com) and it says it is too short and must be 4 characters! It is! If I leave off the @msn.com, it says my info is wrong.
And I can't figure out how to remove the email account so I can try setting it up again.I did try to set up my gmail account - same issue.

May 7, 2012I am able to receive messages but I can not send any. This started while in an area of spotty coverage and continues even when I am back in area with good connection. Does not work to resend, tried power down, sync, turning on and off mms switch. Can not resolve this issue. Could it be the carrier?

Aug 28, 2010I remember when Hotmail messages used to come in a lot faster when I had my Bold 9700. Did something change recently on Hotmail's server?I called AT&T today and tried a few things and it looks like my Hotmail messages are coming in faster but still taking at least 5 minutes.My Exchange messages come in a lot faster as expected.Anyone else have this problem? I did delete all my accounts at least twice today. At one point only one email icon would appear (not including the messages icon) but after deleting the one that didn't appear, it fixed it.Hotmail still slow though.

Sep 30, 2011I have a Curve 8530. Yesterday, I lost my SMS icon, was able to send text messages, not able to receive them. I cannot do either now and the icon is still missing. I have tried taking out the battery and restarting. I have tried hooking it up to my computer and deleting & re-installing all apps - as the Telus guy had said to do. I still cannot send SMS. It shouldn't have magically disappeared like that.

I have followed the guides that i have got from Nokia but the phone won't allow me to change the message centre number that I have been given. Jul 4, 2012only realized 5 days a go that my BBM had stopped working. I'm able to send messages and my contacts recieve them, but they stay as 'D' on my screen, but when they send a message back I do not recieve it but it says 'D' on their screen.I don't think i have changed any setting or messed with anything. I have tried delteting and reinstalling BBM but still the sane problem. Data Services are also on.
