I have lost all my backup data for my Blackberry 8230 Pearl. Where can I get the latest version of the software used to synchonize it again with my new Outlook calendar and contacts?
Can anyone tell me if the Blackberry Desktop 6.0 properly supports synchronization between Outlook 2010 32-bit and a Pearl 8100 with device software v4.5.0.102 (Platform 2.7.0.85)?I first did a one-way sync from Outlook to my device (replacing all device data). That worked fine. However, using Calendar as an example, the next sync tried to delete all calendar entries from some point in 2009 and prior. It also identified changes to entries that were not changed at all!Sync'ing Task, Memos and Contacts yielded the same problem where items were identified as being changed when they were not. When trying different sequences of synchronization including doing a reset on my Pearl before resync'ing, I get different and inconsistent results. The Blackberry site says I have the latest version of device software, so...
I have a Blackberry 8230 that won't turn on. When the battery is charged, the red light flashes very slowly (about 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off). When I plug the USB cable into the computer, I see the BB hard drive for a brief second or two, then it disappears. It will appear briefly again about 20 seconds later, then disappear again. Is the battery shot? Or could there be something else going on? The phone was on the charger all night.
I have problem with my Blackberry Pearl 8230. I cannot turn it on. I have tried recharging it (even when it is connect to a charger the mini display on the cover is still turned off). Sometimes when I connect it to the charger, the red lamp on on the cover will show, however it would turn off very quickly too. I am sure the device is charged, since even when I charge it overnight, I still cannot turn on the device. (sorry in the image, the charger is not connect to an outlet, but it is the same even when it is connceted to an actual outlet)
I have tried pulling the battery out, resetting the device, nothing happens, no response. I have also tried pushing and holding the power button, again nothing happens.
I have a yellow phone icon with an arrow pointing right on my homescreen. The icon does not appear as a notification. I would like to get rid of this. This is my homescreen, the icon is in the top-left corner
I received my Flip 8230 today and have not yet had the chance to activate it and probably won't until tomorrow or Friday. I've been playing with it though to get a good feel for it, and I've noticed that there's no browser installed nor is there any MMS folder or option when sending a picture. I did a search on both issues and found one thread in which it was suggested to resend the service books to remedy the browser problem, so I'll do that as soon as it's hooked up.
What worries me more though is the lack of an MMS folder or MMS option when trying to send a picture. (I can't actually send one of course since my phone isn't activated yet, but the option should still be there.) I did a search on that as well and did find a couple threads about it, but neither really contain an answer to the problem. How do I fix it? I'll be pretty sad if I can't do MMS with this phone.
i'm having some issues syncing my music files. When I try and synchronize on BlackBerry Desktop Software I get the error; "Some files were not synchronized. There was insufficient space or the BlackBerry device was disconnected." I've checked the memory on my media card and it has 1.4GB free, and yet even if i try to copy 3 or 4 music files I get this error. I have also synced video files on to the phone with no problems, but it still wont copy the music files. In options, under 'Store media on' I have my media card selected, so I have no idea why it will not sync the music.
I have a Curve 8330?I run on Windows XP and using Outlook 2000.I manage to instale and run the media sync but I am not able to have a Synchronization between my curve and my calander and contacts in Outlook. When I installed the desktop manager the only possibility was to synchronized with outlook express wich I don't want.Wath are my option in order to be able to have my information synchronized between my curve and outlook (regular) more specifically, my contacts and my calendar.
I got a new Curve 8520 and I want to synchronize my outlook and it all goes wel till the very end where I get the following message Connector Error No available message stores
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
by synchronizing ovi suite 2.2.0.245 with Microsoft outlook 2003 (11.8313.8324) SP3 under windows xp sp3 the suite try to synchronize with outlook but nothing will work.
I installed the OVI, and I found i can't synchronize the outlook calendars, which i get the error code 8xxxxxx. I remove all Nokia software as one post indicated.
I removed pc suite, ovi suite, pc connection, cable software etc.
I delete all the data in c:program filescommon files; c:documents and settings<username>application data okia, c:documents and settings<username>local settingsapplication data okia,
And I reinstall pc suite 7.1.40. Then i get a big problem that when i try to sync, i get the error that File access is denied, You do not have the permission required to access the file C:Documents and Settings<username>Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlookOutlook.ost"
I can't even sync my contact in outlook now! my system is windows xp sp2 , my phone is nokia e71
The issue I'm having is the syncing between my outlook mailbox and my Bold 9700, when I delete a mail from the outlook mailbox it doesn't replicate on the Blackberry.
I've just obtained a 9700. I've set up my outlook email account on the device and set up sync in the desktop manager. My contacts and tasks sync OK, but no joy so far with my calander.
When i launch the synchronisation, I get the following message: "Impossible de se connecter à Exchange server. Verifier l'accès au serveur ou saisissez un mot de passe valide". Problem 2: Before, when I didin't get the Problem 1, I still could'nt synchro the calender properly because it was telling me to switch off the wireless connection, but the indication on how to desactivate it don't correspond to my BB menu!
I have bought BB Torch 9810 recently. And dowloaded latest version of BB Desktop software. I tried to synchronize the BB contact with Outlook 2007. However, it is taking 5 hours or more to do the same. And even after giving so much of time, it gives errors and only partial contacts are transferred to Outlook. (Previously I was using BB Torch and the sync was just taking 2-3 minutes).
the synchronization of my new Curve 9300 with PC/Outlook does not work. Always the same failure-message occurs: In Line 140 in ./Error.cpp is a program failure. send a protocoll to the technical support to report this failure (german orginal message: In zeile 140 in ./Error.cpp ist ein Programmfehler aufgetreten. Senden Sie ein Protokoll an den technischen Support, um diesen Fehler zu melden).
Yesterday, I updated my terminal: Blackberry TORCH 9800 to version 6, ver. 2647.I thought it would be a minor update but I realized it was a major update of the whole system.n IMPORTANT PROBLEM OCCURRED: Outlook 2007 CALENDAR synchronization DID NOT INSTALLED therefore I cannot synchronize the terminal to OUTLOOK with Blackberry Desktop Software anymore. When I look into (Organiseur in French), it shows that Calendar did not install.BUT Yes, it still can synchronize ADDRESSES, TASKS and NOTES but not Calendar.
I am attempting to synchronize my Bold 9780 with outlook calendar by wireless network. The instructions to enter calendar application, press the BB button, go to options and select or deselect the wireless sync option would be fine - IF there was a wireless sync option to be selected or deselected.
I just ordered a Droid x2 and I'm looking for some software that will enable synchronization between Microsoft Outlook for my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. what desktop software works for this function?
I newly installed the latest Ovi Suite 2.2.0.245 and it crashes when synchronisation with Outlook 2003 is initiated. Syncing the messages works. OS is Vista 32-bit. I could send a dump-file to the Nokia support, if desired.
I have a Bold 9650 with Verizon and I set everything up to sync with outlook 2007 properly and it only picks up 2 contacts. I am running windows XP with the latest version of desktop manager. It syncs calender, memo pad etc fine but will only do those same two contacts each time. I have played with all the different settings within BB desktop manager but did not want to play with settings in outlook.
I upgraded to new Desktop Manager - 6.47 and now I can't sych my organizer data.I always get a message that wireless sychronization is in place but when I check this is not true. There are not even options to synchronize - memo pad, contacts, and tasks on my device.I even shut off all wireless services and still no change. Can't get satisfaction for Blackberry so called support.
I have a brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 - just started it up. I set up synchronization with Outlook and everything went smoothly. The Device Manager log shows that Memo Pad data was transferred to the device. But I cannot find the Memo Pad Icon (or the Task icon or the Search Icon...). I've looked everywhere. From reading other posts, it appears that I may have to reinstall the device operating system. Is that the case? If so, it's pretty discouraging to have to do this with a brand new BB.
I recently installed Outlook 2013 on my new Windows 8.1 notebook and would now like to synchronize my calender and contacts with my iPhone 5.
For the contacts everything works fine, but the calender just doesn't synchronize properly. The events from my Outlook calender are taken to my phone, but all the calenders from my phone won't appear in Outlook.
Furthermore, everytime I try to synchronize the calendars all reminders for the events, as well as all recurring events are deleted on my iPhone,
Are there some configurations I have to do in Outlook? I'm using the most current version of iTunes (12.0.1)Â
