BB Pearl :: Activate Device Wirelessly After New Update?

I just started using my old blackberry pearl 8130 again about a month ago and I realized I needed to update the software on it. When I went to do so it told me I would need to activate the device wirelessly. What does this mean? Should I worry about my phone not working correctly after I update it?
if I will be able to send picture mail after this update? (I have Sprint and I couldn't before when it was activated and currently still can't)

I am having a problem to upgrade the device software of my daughter Pearl 8100 from v4.2 to 4.5. The BB update web site does not recognize that is a new version of the device software available.

I'm posting this for a friend who has an "almost year old Pearl Flip" with Rogers Canada, running Rogers' latest officical software, whatever that is.She was able to use her Motorola BT headset up until about a month ago, then updated the OS on the phone, and now BT will NOT enable. No matter what workarounds, it simply will not activate. Believe me, I've tried every method known to "force" the BT to activate.Is this a known problem with this phone? i've googled and found some hints that there might be a hardware issue, but nothing really concrete that she can take to Rogers to show that this might be a known issue.

I already have the maximum allowed five devices linked to my apple ac. One of them is an old and out-of-use laptop that I need de-activate as a device in order to activate my iphone. How can I de-activate the old laptop without finding it and booting it up? Can I de-activate it from my main Mac desktop?

I bought an unlocked at&t Samsung s5 active phone online and I'm unable to place a call on hold and retrieve another incoming call. the option just does not come up, even though i activated call waiting by going to advanced settings.

I have purchased this device from my colleague, he is a US citizen, this device worked for some time than suddenly asking searching after trying Airplane Mode Off/On , Reset Network Setting , nothing worked than I try to restore from iTunes unfortunately , I am not able to activate it. and it still showing searching...I know my ICloud  login Id and Password .

My wife's phone disconnects when bluetoothing with here headset (making calls). I looked on this blackberry board for the software and all I found was the 8120 software. Can that software be used? The phone is not data enabled so I can not use the wireless data feature to upgrade the software. The version of device sofware is v4.3.0.93.

sofware version v4.2.0.64 according to desktop BB that I downloaded recently with my BB device attached at time of download had deleted all information from BB device. After download I was not aware all information was deleted from device, including all numbers. I deleted the old desktop BB which I had some information, Possibly also backup, and the new download cannot find any pics or backup from other desktop BB.

Im trying to change my ringtones around on my phone with the eventual goal of making some custom ringtones for certain friends. Before I get ahead of myself with the custom tones, I need to solve a problem: it seems that I am unable to change my ringtone at all!
I previously installed Buzz me from the app store on my phone, and despite having uninstalled buzzme and removing it from 'my world' in the app world, the only ringtone my phone will use is the lame 3 beep tone that came with Buzz me. When I go into profiles to change my ringtone, the same tone plays regardless of which ringer I select. When I made this post I tried notifier_crystal, alarm_electronic, ringer_bbpro, and they all sounded the same

After I updated my iphone 3GS it restarted and then my iphone no longer recognized my carrier. It says No Service in the top left corner, and it will not let me activate my iphone. The itunes says that there is no sim card, but the iphone was working fine this morning before I updated it.

I dont know why but ever since I updated my iphone 3gs 8GB to the new 5.1.1 firmware I am unable to activate it with my AT&T sim card and I know that this Iphone is from AT&T and I recieved it as a graduation present yesterday, so is there any way to fix this please? And I know that other users are having the same problems with the Iphone series after updating to IOS 5.1.1 is there a solution to activating my Iphone 3gs on this firmware?

After updating OS Software on my Bold 9650, I am promted to go to the Setup Wizard to setup my email account. At the Email Account Activation Screen, I am prompted to typen in the passwords for each of my email accounts. When I do this, I get the message "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again". I have verified that the passwords are correct. Not sure what to do next.

I recently udated my iphone 3GS to ios5.1 and it went straight in to recovery mode after and i had to restore it, now it wont activate and doesnt recognise the sim anymore. I have tried restoring again. It says to try and connect to itunes and start again, but itunes says there is no sim inserted.

I updated my BB 9700 to v 5.0.0.545 (Platform 5.1.0.140)and subsequently pressing on the "mute" button no longer turns on/off "standby mode.I tried the mute button during a phone call and that works fine. So I don't think the issue is hardware.Plus it was all fine before the device update.
