my bb 8110 was working fine, the battery went low and i plugged in the charger, it then shut off and the 'no battery' sign comes on. i took out the battery and re-insert and still the same thing....it has been working with this battery from day one...what is the problem now and what do i do!!!

Since I noticed it had a problem with battery usage, I pulled out the battery and saw that it was a "generic" battery not from Blackberry CM-2, So I purchased a brand new factory made CM-2 Blackberry battery. The problem is, I still have the same issue, I charge the battery all night into morning and the battery only lasts a few hours at most. I charged it all night last night and already from 11am - 3pm the battery is half-dead and I have hardly used it! I'm trying to find out if anyone knows what could be causing this to happen? The phone's trackball doesnt work(clicking the trackball scrolls up), and the volume up doesn't work either. I'm not really going to use the phone as cellular device, but I would rather just have it on my desk as a souvenir...in working condition as a backup.So I've decided to buy a new housing for it, probably fixing the trackball problem, and then this is where I'm not sure. Would the new housing fix the volume bar problem also? Or would I have to actual replace parts on the phone?

I had to restore my iphone so when I did it the phone remembered my old Apple ID. So I created an updated one etc and now it says under settings that the new one is in effect but when I go to the app store it has the old one. I have logged out etc but the old one keeps popping up when I try to update or download an app.

My phone batter died and it switched off and after a few moments when i reached home i plugged in a charger and my phone wont show me charging sign nor it will turn up so i left it on charge for a couple of hours and returned to try the same switching on method and still it wont turn on. So started googling this problem and i came across a forum where it showed me to hard booth by pressing the volume down and power button.
Magically it did not work for me so i made an appoint to go and see LG Service Store and suddenly my phone turned on so i thought the problem was solved untill it happened again and again and again so now if my phone switches off i am not very sure if it would turn back on. As this is a very random problem and i am unable to solve it while the phone is on and if i charge it before the battery reaches the critical levels and shuts on its own i am just fine.
What can be the issue as battery works the whole day of medium to low use and also other hardware happens to function well without any hanging complaints. Also my phone randomly switches off if i am playing some game as it gets heated and the same story of phone not booting.

I actually dropped my phone in the sink while the tap was running and water got into it. I quickly took out the battery and dried it off and threw it into a bowl of rice and let it sit there for about a full day. Now when I tried turning it on, nothing happened.... didn't even boot, nothing. After about 2 days of it sitting in rice, it actually shows a RED X through a battery and I'm not sure what that means... does it mean the battery is dead, or there is severe water damage. The way I thought about it is if the screen shows an image... then the phone must be working... because its displaying an image, so I'm leaning towards thinking the battery must be completely depleted.

I'm using Windows Vista.I type text messages and emails in different languages, but the only three of them that came with the phone were English, French, and Spanish. It rejects the spelling of my German words in emails and facebook posts, etc. I don't want to have to add every German word I know manually.I also would like to be able to use the SureType feature in German, but I can't figure out how to add it.
