Unable to see how I setup Desktop Software (*not* BES) to wirelessly send more of my messages. I'll sacrifice things if I must, like other functions or storage space - email is my most important use. I'm using Outlook 2007 tied to Exchange, and it does forward messages, but too few, and in tiny batches. I would like to tweak how often and how many in a batch too, if possible.

Synchroinsation with outlook 2003 OST-File should only be done locally via USB to the local outlook 2003 cllient. Actually synchronisation with an BB 8900 does not work. What must be done to get the BB desktop software 5.0.1.28 or later sync with an local outlook.ost file ?

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.
I have an iPhone 4s and a Mac and iPad. I have Messages installed on the desktop and iPad. When I get a text through the Messages app, it does not go to my phone, but goes to the desktop. Which is not very handy when I am not sitting in front of it. The conversations do not appear on my iPhone or iPad if they are on the desktop.Â

I am running BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0.1.37 and the 'Reconcile Email Messages' option is disabled and 'Email' is not mentioned in 'Configure Sync". I have a BlackBerry non-enterprise data plan with my carrier. My phone works ok and I can send BB messages, but I can't receive any BB messages from outside Europe. I have tried taking the battery out and waiting a bit, re registring my handheld with the wireless network and still the problem persists.

I look on the web and there is a app that looks absolutly perfect for the job called iblacklist. It looks like I need to "jailbreak" my phone which looks like a fairly risky thing to do. I'm posting on behalf of my girlfriend who recently had her number changed on her iPhone 4s. She did this through her service provider (o2) and the whole process seemed quick and stress free. After only a couple of hours and a restart of the phone the number had changed successfully, but now she is not able to send any text messages. She can recieve messages (including Whatsapp messages etc) and has no problem with incoming or outgoing calls with the new number so we are a bit miffed as to what the problem could be?

I have a new BB 8530. I have several email boxes that I'm receiving email from. They are setup IMAP yet when I view or delete via my computer, the blackberry is never updated with "deleted" or "read" status. I'm currently showing about 60 unread messages on my bb but have no unread messages.

Is there a way to restrict the number of text messages you can receive in a day from one person? There's someone I work with, I sent a text to them about something they did, and then I got bombarded by over 20 text messages which froze my messaging (on another phone, I just got an iPhone 4s). I can't totally end my relationship with this person, as they are good at their job. I just want to avoid another text message assault if possible.

This morning my mother in law was texting my wife and I (group message), but I never received anything. When I looked on my wife's iPhone I saw my number was there correctly. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy issue is this, my messaging icons do not depict number of unread messages, at all. Including the Samsung default text messaging app, Gmail and Verizon email. They did when I first got the phone (Galaxy S6) but have not at all today after doing some simple personalization.
Additionally, I have gone into app manager and the individual apps and the show notifications check box is checked.
Whenever I sent a text message, it comes through as my email address instead of my phone number. When I went to Settings > Messages, under "Receive at", is at my email address as the default and next to my phone number it says Error.I upgraded my phone, is there a reason this is happening? No one is really getting my texts.
