BB Desktop Software :: PIN Address In Microsoft Outlook
Mar 30, 2010
I have recently received about 20 new PIN addresses and was hoping there was a method of adding PIN's into my Outlook Contacts, however I don't find this as a field I can add in my Outlook Contacts. Do I have to resort to only inputting PIN addresses through the device? Seems a bit low tech!
I have a Blackberry 8520 curve which does the job perfectly apart from one little problem im having. I sync my calender with Outlook few times a week which works fine when I sync one way. Phones > Outlook. unplug, replug, Outlook to Phone. If I try and sync both ways, it just doesnt happen and gives me some error message. I'm using windows 7 and have the latest Desktop Manager software.
Any assistance out there on the 2010 MS OFFICE PRO - - upgraded from 2003 and having difficulties sync-ing the device. "Got a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error - - No Available Message Stores" Read a few post(s) and it appears that 2010 Office Pro was not yet tested when during Beta period... Does anyone have any fix for this problem..
I do not have wireless sync capabilities so I need to do it through Desktop manager and when I try it says:"Synchronization is currently unavailable for:Address Book Because the application is configured for wireless synchronization Desktop Sync for the above application will be disabled click help for information an how to disable wireless Synchronization on your device" "If wireless data synchronization is available for your BlackBerry® device, but you want to synchronize your organizer data using the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager, verify that wireless data synchronization is turned off on your device. Click Help on your device for more information about wireless data synchronization."
I am sure that this information is probably posted somewhere in these forums, but Ive tried 5-6 different searches and cant find what I need to know, so thought I'd try a post. I only want to transfer a portion of the contacts in my Outlook 2007 address book over to my BB, and keep those contacts through each synchronization (dont want to synchronize and have them all show up).
I have been synching both Yahoo Address Book and Yahoo Calendar successfully for months.Suddenly, Address Book no longer synchs.Yahoo calendar still works. The problem occurs aftew Desktop reads all the contacts. It halts while "Synchronization Progress reading from Yahoo Address Book" displays. That message has displayed for up to an hour with no progress.I then disconnect and halt Desktop.I can still synch Yahoo Calendar.I have not updated desktop or device software.
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I have a person who when I make the connection between their BB Desktop Manager and their Outlook Profile all of a sudden outlook sends all incoming email to the Junk E-mail folder.Another behavior is that if I add the sender to the Safe Sender List, the next email from that person will show up in both the outlook Inbox and the Junk-Email folder.Any help would be great as I think I have everything setup correctly. If I break just the email outlook profile connection the problem goes away. AKA, Outlook doesn't put emails into the junk folder that shouldn't go there.
Currently I have 2 email address that I use on my iPhone - Hotmail and Optusnet. I use the Optusnet email through Microsoft Outlook on my home computer. How do I set up my iPhone so that all reminder/ calendar entries from Outlook come up on my iPhone?
I am using a Blackberry Torch and have the newest version of the Desktop Software (v6).When I try to setup my synchronization it gives me options for ASCII and Yahoo but not Outlook. What can I do? I have installed the software on several other laptops with their Blackberry Bold (both 9000 and 9700) and this hasnt been an issue.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software but with no new luck.
I was told by a tele help agent at AT&T that Blackberry Desktop sync software was not able to be used if you are using Windows 7. I find this hard to believe but would really like to quit wasting time finding an answer if Blackberry does not support the new OS.I am also using Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Premium and cannot get the Blackberry Desktop to sync with Outlook 2010 during set-up.I can't believe Blackberry didn't know a new Outlook was coming out and syncing would be one of those key tasks.
I was hoping one of you fine lads could fix my problem. I currently have a blackberry curve 8320 gold with tmobile. In the past i have used microsoft office to sync my contacts and calendar with my phone but just recently it will not sync my calendar. It only syncs my contacts. Its quite frusturating. Right now I have a Dell vostro 1510 running Windows 7 64 bit with microsoft office 2007.
Does the Blackberry Torch software have its own Address Book which I can sync my device to and make changes on the PC without having to use Microsoft Outlook?
Is There anyway to synchronise my calendar and contacts in Outlook 2011 for Mac with my blackberry torch. I am running bb desktop manager 2.0 for Mac and this gives no options other than to use ical and Mac address book. I am able to synchronise contacts with address book using the sync services on outlook, and then sync that with my bb, but it takes a while and loses some info on the way. There seems to be no way to use the outlook calendar.
I successfully set up the Exchange client on my E72 and can receive and send mail but I cannot find my contacts that are on our server at work via Microsoft Outlook. Phone support at Nokia was not helpful - very frustrating. My personal contacts synch with the E72 fine from my Mac using Apple Address Book and Sync. Am I correct in thinking that I can maintain both my Microsoft Outlook work contacts and Apple Address Book contacts at the same time? I thought the E72 was capable of this.
My computer successfully syncs with my N900, but I cannot see the notes anywhere. Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a bug in the system. The calendar and contacts work perfectly.
I am having difficulty syncing my I3gs phone calendar to my PC's Microsoft Outlook 2003 calendar.I installed Google Calendar and tried following several pieces of advice from various information sources.
I've just got a blackberry curve 9300 and have an email account on Microsoft Outlook on a PC at home and am trying to get it to sync so that I can check emails while I am away from home - one of my primary reasons for getting a blackberry. It seems as though I need to use an Enterprise Account but I can't seem to get anywhere - every time I try to 'set up' an email address it's asking me for an email address & password which won't work and it's not giving me an option to go for an Enterprise Account.
I just ordered a Droid x2 and I'm looking for some software that will enable synchronization between Microsoft Outlook for my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. what desktop software works for this function?
I just acqired a Nokia Nuron 5230. I want to synchronize with Microsoft Outook in my PC.I check the user guide. It does not have specific instructions for synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook.I tried the synchronization guide, but it seems that the instruction is for synchronizing to a server. It ask for a contact database.I put in my outlook .pst file, but it doesn't recognize it.Does anyone have step-by-step instructions on how to synchronize 5230 with Microsoft Outlook?
I don't seem to be able to sync my contacts to my Microsoft Outlook (2003) from my N8. It worked fine with the N85. I get an error message from Ovi Suite that neither Calendar nor Contacts could be synced but the Calendar does get updated. Unfortunately not the contacts. When I go to Sync Options and select Outlook for contacts and calendar I get a message from Outlook that it cannot connect to the Exchange Server, but I don't use Exchange server, I use a private e-mail account. I have tried to set up the account again as per the Ovi Suite error message (Error 83860004) but nothing. Of course also restarting Ovi Suite.
For some reason PC Suite will no longer synch my Calendar from Microsoft Outlook. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Outlook and PC Suite, but to no avail.I'm using Windows 7, but, as I've said, it was all working until this week. The phone (Nokia 6220 Classic) is linking properly with my laptop via Bluetooth as my text messages?
I am using Outlook 2000 on windows XP. I am trying to synch my bb to the calendar only. However it does not come up wih the Outlook option to highlight. I have copied the screen below as an example. You can see Microsoft Outlook is an option here. However on my pc/bb it only offers me ASCII or Yahoo as an application option? Where am I going wrong?
My old phone - Samsung Omnia - had no problem synching with Outlook Calendar. Interestingly, if I tick the contacts box, it offers Outlook Express as an application?
