i have this bb for the first time . it is awesome but i cannot use the volume up key however the volume down key works good. coming to the point i want to know how to increase the volume for the songs without using that volume keys.
View 2 RepliesThe increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.

When I watch a video, I can't slide my volume up because the bar isn't there. View 5 Replies View RelatedNot sure if theres a defect on my S2, or if they changed how the volume keys work from the S1, but on my S1, I could press the volume keys up or down and the ringer volume would change, from silent all the way up to loud.
But on my Storm2, the volume keys don't do anything. At first I thought the phone had a defect and the keys didnt work, but I installed QuickLaunch and I'm able to scroll through the QL menu using the volume keys. So the question is, can you guys control the ringer volume using the volume keys? Or do the volume keys not work that way on the S2?
Yesterday the volume down button and power button started not working. This has happened before and usually if I turn it off and on again the problem is fixed. That's not working this time. The power button works about 2/3rds of the time and the down volume button won't work at all, it sometimes even lowers the volume by itself. Because of this problem, whenever I turn the phone off and on again it brings me to the fastboot page and puts my phone on safemode, which I can't get out of. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, doing a factory data reset, and using recovery mode.

I have an IPhone 3GS, and everything works fine when the headphones are not connected to the headphone jack. Volume buttons work fine, up and down.As soon as I plug any headphones/speaker, I am able to turn the volume up using the side buttons, but not down.
