I have a curve 9320 with bbm 6.2 I just need to know how to permanently delete chat history from a contact. Is it also possible to check that deleted chat cannot be recovered and are not being backed up somewhere.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager like the BB site said to do and backed up my address book and everything else on my phone. I was going to update my BB Curve 8330 software. I read the directions and followed them and after I backed up and it said the back up was successful I tried to update the software and it said that failed so I restored everything back onto my phone and guess what? Address book is gone! So far that's the only thing I can find that didn't restore but I'm still looking. Is there anything that I can do that I am not techno-savvy enough to have realized or are they just gone? If they're just gone then fine whatever I'm not going to freak out.

Following the L update I found I couldn't edit photos normally in Photos....just got 'Downloading resources etc' message. Eventually found a fix....turned off mobile data, turned on wifi, tried to edit a photo, got the message, clicked OK, and the editing tools downloaded. Photo editing now back to what it was before the update.

I had my phone stolen in December and it has since been recovered, despite its 3 weeks spent in a wet ditch the phone still turns on and appears to work. My problem is that I contacted my service provider O2 and requested that they unlock the handset so I can use it again. I was told by them that once a Blackberry handset has been reported stolen and blocked then it can never be used again.Can someone verify this as, if this is correct I would of never of blocked the phone in the first place if there was a slim chance of it being returned. So my lovely blackberry torch is currently a very expensive paperweight.

so HTC sent me another m8 after my last had the volume rocker pop out.
I backed up my first phone and then restored the new phone from that backup minutes later. Everything appears exactly as how i had it on the old m8, except my contacts and hangouts are doing this weird thing.
1. my google contacts are loading 141 people into my phone book. My google contacts in gmail, however, have only 85 people allotted for my phonebook in "my contacts" and my old device only displayed those 85.
2. Hangouts lists both the SMS and Hangouts convos separately, so that one contact (bob) is listed in a convo as both bob and bob with an "sms" icon in white over the bottom right of his profile picture.

I have just got my Iphone back from the Vodafone insurance and I can not find where the contacts are backed up on my PC? I am running windows 7 and backed them up in March before I had to send the phone away to be fixed.
