View 3 RepliesI have two email accounts set up on by Curve 9360. When I click on either email icon now I just get access to my txt messages! I'm still receiving emails which I can open and reply to but when I close them I can't access them again and they disappear.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had this Blackberry Curve for around a couple of months and now the right half of the keypad (apart from the p/@ key) is now locked or not working. The keys affected are y u i o, h j k l del, b n m s and their associated alt symbols. Have I inadvertently locked it? I've tried the unlock number shortcut but this hasn't made any difference

What I did:
1) Installed OVI PC suite,
2) Connected phone and starte to upgrade firmware
3) Battery level was low, so I connected the charger and confirmed that it was charging.
4) Started firmware upgrade
During step 3 ("install") of the "update device softeware" process I received a message:
"Nokia OVI Suite has lost connection with your device. Follow these steps to reconnect your device. 1. Remove the USB cable from the device. 2. Re-insert the USB cable. 3. Click 'OK' below to continue"
The problem is that now my phone was off and did not respond at all to the power on switch, the charger being removed and inserted, the USB cable being removed and inserted or the battery being removed and inserted.
Is ther any way to enable partial name search in Nokia X3-02.Its a pity that such a basic feature is missing in the latest mobiles.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have intermittent sound problems with with iPhone 4 S. When I am receiving a call I hear no ringtone. I also hear no sounds when I am using apps. I do however have sound when I am playing music or using Siri. I haven't had problems with hearing calls or people hearing me during the call duration.
Any suggestions??

I'm getting very fustrated when wanting to take low light photos using the Flash on the N97. Everytime I use the flash, I get whiteout towards the top left of the picture. I can do nothing about it. I never had this issue with my N82 or N95, which took great indoor/low light photos. This is clearly a fault in it's design, one that should have clearly been rectified during the development and testing of this handset. As there is nothing to deflect the flash away from the camera lense, there is a 2/3mm divider on the N82, & on the N95 the flash is far away enough to not have an impact.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe camera on my Iphone 4 has started to take pictures where part of the picture is a big grey rectangle. They look this way both in the iphone photo album and after import to iphoto. When the photo is first taken, the animated shutter opens and first it shows the whole photo for a split second, then it flashes to the grey photo and that photo is animated to the the little thumbnail to the bottom left of the screen. This doesn't happen with every photo, just once in a while and only started happening recently, after an update to iOS 5.1.1.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI instructed Map Loader to download Europe (no less) which happens to be a wopping 2.2 Gigabyte. It calculated probably pretty accurately that downloading Europe would cost 1 hours 9 minutes and 48 seconds. A decent figure. Having started the download I absentmindedly and without any evil will disconnected my phone mid-download after 45 min give or take to make a phone call. That made Map Loader scream with discomfort (Waiting for phone!!) and eventual crash, with a fancy .NET debug message displayed. Yes, my dear readers, Map Loader is written with some Visual tool from Redmond where I expected a nice Qt based application. This now meant that all work was for nothing and the next time I selected Europe for download I was surprised to find it hadn't shrunk and was still the 2.2 Gigabyte and would still take 1 hours and 9 minutes and 48 seconds (thanks, Data) to download.
Now, I did not disconnect my ISP, paid all the facility bills so actually there would be no reason why 87% or an odd 1.8Gig wouldn't be around sitting on my PC still so that only that last 13% needed a download and I would go ahead and fix a drink to have the download finished in an agreeable time. It would be nice for my and Nokia's bandwidth and the environment (not to mention Europe) to have Map Loader at least save partial data so that in case of an unfortunate attack on the connection between Map Loader and the hand-set at hand it would be able to continue where it left off.
I was getting drops out on calls with 862 so I decided to back to 714 and as usual I dont back up my data as it always does it automatically during the downgrade or upgrade process.This time, I had my email accounts restored but not the actual emails. My contacts have been lost, but the apps and themes are still there.
So I tried restoring my contacts from a backup that I took on the 27th of August but here is the message I get when I try to do the Restoration was an error restoring.There could have been a problem with the device or connection during the restore. Verify that the dvice is turned on and connected.I tried restarting my computer and doing a battery pull but no luck and it is the same cable and port I always use...
Im looking for help I purchased a 9360 the othe day and can't get over how hot the back becomes,and how poor the battery life is. I have taken the first one back to the shop and they couldn't get over it either so swapped it for another one. The replacement is just the same Is anyone else having the same problems or know if there is a cure/fix for this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy daughters phone used to connect as USB and you could see her phone from the computer (iMac, Windows). Now when she chooses USB it does not prompt for password, and only connects for charging as if she chose Charge Only.
I don't think it's the computer, same effect on our iMac and 2 Windows computers. Is there a setting in her phone which needs to be changed, or some software update (it seems to be fully updated)
