So i just installed an app in the morning the app store said that it requires a reboot to install it so i just clicked the reboot button on the app store. After that the loading screen appeared and started to load then the blackberry screen appeared. Now this is where im having a problem my blackberry always get stuck on the "BlackBerry" screen. i tried to soft reboot and also hard reboot but having the same problem.
i tried to update my curve but now it keeps rebooting and then saying linking java and the rebooting again. i tried to connect it to blackberry desktop software but i cant because it keeps rebooting.
I had kept my blackberry 9220 in my hand bag while i was in a lecture. After an hour I wanted to check time but it wasnt working. i removed battery then tried to turn it on but it didn't. I connected it to wall charger but it still isnt starting, even LED isnt flashing.
My BB Curve 8520 battery was critically low last nite. I switched it off. Today it is not starting since morning. Tried charging it through charger, PC but the mobile seems to have died off. Does not respond.
My blackberry is not booting/starting up. Initially I thought my battery must have depleted, but when I connect my BB to the wall charger the red light at the top right corner pops up, its there for 10 seconds or so. Then the screen shows the phone is charging for 4-5 seconds, post which the screen goes blank, completely blank. I have left it for couple of hours, but nothing happens.
Everytime the charger is disconnected and reconnected the same thing happens.
Even when I connect my BB with the USB cable same things happen - Red light for 10 seconds, shows its charging for 4-5 seconds and then black screen. The phone is not booting/starting up even after I had left it with charger for 2-3 hrs.
Blackberry Curve 8520: This morning I downloaded an app then rebooted my phone, because it required it. After that the loading screen appeared and started to load then the blackberry screen appeared. Now my phone is stuck on the BlackBerry screen, I took the battery out and tried to the my phone on again which didn't work, and I have also tried to connect it to my computer but it won't recognise it.
My Curve 9300 shutdown on Sunday. When I plug it in, all it does is blinks once, the rapidly three more times, but the screen doesnt even light up or anything. It is ivisible to my PC.
My BB is showing the following error.. Error starting net_rim_bb_toolkit: module'net_rim_bbid_api' not found. I get this message when i click on setup.
All application like BBM, BB World and Gtalk have got deleted .
My blackberry worked great until Google Sync was dropped a few weeks ago. Now it has been a major headache to figure out an alternative. I've read the instructions for version 7 of the desktop software here: [URL]... However, I can't even get past step one. When I go to email setup, it just jumps to the end of the process, with my current email account already installed. I don't get a prompt for BlackBerry Internet Service anywhere.
After I installed 5.0 on my Verizon 8330, ever time I try to start the camera I get a message saying the camera cannot be started. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
I just had this new BB 8530 for a few hours from the Verizon store. I love it and it seems have a lot better than my old BB 8330. Got home, I plug the BB 8530 to the computer, using BB Desktop Manager to transfer my contacts and calendar, then it just kept on booting for hours and hours.
I was using my Curve 8900 earlier today and it got hotter than usual and then I turned it off and later tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on, I then removed the battery and put it back in, the red/orange light came on (where the light is that informs you that you have a text.. etc) and then it wouldn't turn on.... I later charged it and it is now working again, is my battery dead??
I'm a newbie at Crackberry, but reading and learning since i got my BB, but got my account today because i really need help. Since a few days i have some strange problems with my BB Curve 8900;
- E Key is broken - Alt Key is only functioning when using it in single use (so not possible anymore to hold the ALT key and type the symbols at the same time). - Right Convenience key is not starting the camera anymore. I don't think its broken, because when my BB is asleep, and when i start pushing the right convenience key the screen does light up.
I tried a battery pull, but it doesn't solved my problems. I don't have any warranty anymore. So anyone with solutions, does a upgrade of the OS maybe works?
Just received new 8900 put in sim card and battery, connected charger and red led comes on for about 10 seconds then a battery with a red line through it appears on the screen. Can not power on. Is this icon normal when charging?
i have curve 8520 ,,, i go to sleep and my phone was working when i wake up i found that is no charge in the phone i charg it but it keep booting on 0% and it reboot again and i can't open the phone i search in the froum
my curve 9300 has just recently started to reboot several times, just out of the blue at any time. my software version is 5.0.0.832. I tried to update it to 6 but it won't. it says there are no updates available.
A friend and I have the blackberry 9360, and we've both found it randomly decides it wants to switch itself off and reboot about 3 times a day. Her phone was a day old when it started to do this, mine is about 4 months old. We've experienced this problem on OS 7.0 and 7.1.
it has rebooted itself literally 2times in 5mins.. i was on the speaker phone, and in the middle of the conversation it goes black and the red flash goes on and it reboots, then i walk away for 2mins, and its back at the same blackscreen with the red light on, idk why its doing it.its happened when i use Internet, or the internet, and the facebook app.
Alright so my blackberry curve has been rebooting for quite some time now but it always manages to come back to normal at one point, but today, all day today, its been rebooting and I have no idea why. Right now it died and I put it in the charger and it's still rebooting. It turns on, the red LED light comes off the clock timer thingy pops up and it restarts again.. it doesn't even get to the starting up bar..
I've took the battery out after waiting half an hour after it crashed and I've done this several times now! I've also waited as the battery as warm so I waited for it to cool but it did the exact same thing! I need my phone in a matter of hours for an alarm and incase of emergencies to do with my family!
I have an 8900 curve and I was rebooting it after an app download. He doesn't restart. Red light just blink one time then pause and blinks four times more. DTM doesn't connect with the phone. When I try to wipe it using JL_Cmder , it can't connect to my phone. Please, what can I do?
My blackberry just keeps on rebooting. When finished the red light goes on for a while then it goes of and the whole rebooting process starts again. It also does not connect through usb to the computer
Today I had to do some updates on my BB and afterwards it said it required a reboot. It restarted and went to the screen with the progress bar in white but it goes to the end and stops. I have taken the battery out again and again, even left it out for over an hour. I put it back in, and it does the same thing: goes to the end of the progress bar and stops. It wont connect to my computers USB also.
My blackberry curve 9360 got stuck while trying to upgrade the "evernote" app. I waited for 10 mins but then pulled out the battery to do a hard reset. Now the phone keeps rebooting in a continuous loop.It shows the loading screen and when the bar is complete, the red LED turns on and the screen just stays blank. If i press any kep the loading bar appears again as empty and goes onto complete and then again the red LED turns on.I can't connect to PC through the Desktop software and it shows an error with Retry, Update and Close options. Tried "Retry" many times and update says no new updates for your phone but can't still connect.I can't find the Apploader folder mentioned in some posts from where you can get the device to connect in my "Research In Motion" folder in Program files. Maybe because I'm on OS 7 or the desktop software is another version. Please help me on how to get my device back on. I am ready to lose the data if there is some way to do a hardware reset or OS reinstall which doesnt require the phone to boot.
My 8520 has been a great phone for the last 9 months now it has started rebooting itself and there has been occassions when all I have is a black screen with a red cross
I downloaded the new Bolt browser on .348 and after it installed it said to reboot so I did that. Ever since then my phone will show the Blackberry loading screen, then the red LED flashed for a few seconds and then it does it all over again. I left the battery out all night it did not help. DM shows no PIN connected because it obviously isn't booted.
My phone keeps rebooting itself out of nowhere. it isnt because of me updating my os as i have done that a long time ago. its happens for no good reason, and honestly it sucks having to wait for it to reboot. anyone know how to fix this? i already tried battery pulls too.
