I was trying to restore backup from my Laptop (Backed-up files from Old Curve 8520 & back-up is in .tib format) to my new BB Curve 9300. But in a Desktop Manager's restore option my back-up files (from 8520 in .tib format) is not showing. What should be done to restore this backup?
I've tried searching here and on Google, and have found the same question asked a few times but no answers. There is no tab key on the E72 keypad, so can anybody tell me is there an easy way to skip through a web page from link to link (or field to field)?
I have a BBerry Curve 9300 that I upgraded the software on to version 6.0 bundle 2949 and ever since I can`t get online to check emails etc and all I can do is BB messenger. I click on the email setup link on the phone but it won`t do anything at all. I see from the pull down list of programs that there are a few internet items required but it won`t allow me to click on them and download. I have updated the software but nothing. What can I do? I recently moved from the UK to Canada but it was like this before I moved - I just haven`t needed it in a while.
I created a blackberry ID a while ago but never verified the email. I now have a new phone and I want to get all my BB contacts from my old phone but it is not accepting my blackberry ID. I logged into my account and saw that the email was not verified. I tried ot verify the email, but everytime I get a mail saying that the link has expired.

I've just got a Blackberry Curve 8520. I'm trying to link my email account to the phone but it won't let me. I've gone into email settings and put in my hotmail.co.uk address and my password but I just keep getting a message saying Invalid email address or password. I know both are correct as I am able to use the account on a computer. It just won't let me use it on the phone.

Just bought a new Curve 9320, very nice 9320 VodafoneDroid OS: 7.1 Problem: I downloaded some wallpaper from App World (but decided I didn't like it (crappy flag flapping in the wind that drains your battery) so I deleted it in the usual way and it asked me to reboot, odd but I did it anyway! Now I can't get rid of the pesky crafty web link from my panel and the **bleep** flag keeps flapping It (MMMOOO Themes) seems to have hidden itself somewhere I can't find it to delete!
I have been using a BB Curve 8520 for about a year - quite happy with everything but need help in one area. There is an excel file that I need to refer to quite frequently when on the go. I send the updated file periodically from my laptop computer to the blackberry via email (and then detach the file to the BB flie system). However, to get to this file from BB, I have to follow a lengthly procedure as follows:
1. Press Berry key to see full homescreen 2. Click on "Applications" icon 3. Click on "Files" icon 4. Click on "File Folders" 5. Click on "Media Card" folder 6. Click on "BlackBerry" folder 7. Click on "documents" folder 8. Select desired Excel file and click to display contents
Instead, is there any way for me to create a link to the above file (or move the file) to a folder that I can create directly under HomeScreen, so that I can open the file in one or two clicks, rather than the 8 clicks above?I do know that you can create a new folder directly on the homescreen - but how do I move / copy a file to it?
I just downloaded OS 5.0.0.509 Wind Hellas and cant find a download link for the BB app world while my old one says install successfull but nothing happens.

I am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application. In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.
so my friend gave me his bb to update it for him. Im running windows 7 and i wanna update his phone whenever i connect it to my laptop it doesnt even recognize it same with his computer, I beleive its something with the phone is there anways to update the os thru putting it on a memory card or fixing this issue, the phones been wiped before different usb chords used so its not that, i my self can connect my bb 8900 to my laptop flawlessly, i also have a bluetooth but still, doesnt work, do i need drivers maybe? i have dm 5.0.1.
I recently bought a new HP Pavilion dv6-2150us laptop w/windows Home Premium 64 bit os. i have had nothing but problems with this computer and my BB (Curve 8330m; U.S. Cellular)since purchase. I loaded the DTM into the new computer from the disc I got w/the phone (v 4.5), set it up to connect w/my Outlook 2007 and it worked, once. the next time I started the computer the DTM would launch but it could not find the phone, it reads "Device connected (PIN): None" in the bottom left of the window. It shows up in the Device Manager as connected, though. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the newest version 5.0.1 and tried it again. It worked once. Next time I started the computer, same thing as above. I came to the BB site and looked at the KBs, tried the things listed, updating BIOS, etc. etc. Nothing I have done has worked. I'm getting pretty frustrated, and wasting alot of time here at work. Any help would be appreciated.
Some people that haves BB told me that they could pass the BB internet to their lap-tops, and I wanna know HOW CAN I DO IT and if I have to pay to Sprint (that is my company) that use.
Whenever I try to send images from my BB to my laptop, I receive a "Failed to find service" message. Sending images to my BB from my laptop works perfectly fine.
Originally I received error messages about missing 'peripheral devices', but I've since followed instruction to install them, and resolved that error. I thought this would enable me to send and receive files to/from my BB without issue, but the "sending" part still won't work. I've also tried removing my BB from my Laptop's Devices, and vise versa, then re-pairing them. This also doesn't seem to have any effect.
My BB is a Curve 8500 v5.0.0.681 I'm on Orange UK Laptop is a Sony VAIO

I have a few dozen photos on my Blackberry (on the BB's memory, not a memory card), and I am trying to upload them to my laptop. I have downloaded the Desktop Manager from Blackberry, and followed the directions (go to media, click launch, etc) but I cannot find my photos anywhere!
