I have checked the option of synching photos but the photos do not appear in library and neither in iTunes (when my phone is connected to the computer) but they are there on my mobile and they appear on it but not in iTunes.

BB Torch :: Browser Does Not Have The Options To Search Via A Search Engine
Nov 29, 2011Pulled the battery on my phone today and now Browser does not have the options to seach via a search engine. Its just an address bar. Ex. If I type yahoo, it will just go to [URL] It used to show the search engines I could use. Also, in the options it would let me choose my default before, now there is nothing in the options about search engines.

May 19, 2011I have 2 Blackberry Curve 8900's both on the Vodafone network and have installed Blackberry App World on both of them. I have checked the application lists on both of the phones and Blackberry App World is appearing in both of the lists but there is no icon any where for me to click on to open Blackberry App World. Both of these Blackberrys have software version 4.6.1.168 which according to when i click check for updates on desktop manager it is the latest version.
I have read other threads on here and done anything that i have found so far but none of them have worked, i.e: uninstalled and re-installed the app world from different places but still does not appear numerous battery pulls but still don't appear i have tried installing blackberry app world from [URL] on both blackberrys but still it does not appear i have tried connecting my blackberry to my PC and downloading and installing the blackberry app world from my PC's web browser from the above same URL but using the option 'From Your Desktop Computer' but still it does not appear.

Jun 12, 2011My curve is operating really slowly and when I try to open or send a text or open a mail, I get a very small clock icon appear. After about 20 secs, the text or mail opens. Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours,even after fully charging.

Oct 4, 2011i have just updated the o/s on my blackberry curve today (v5.0.0.681).i have a work exchange email, and i have also added my personal mail account via Setup / Email Settings - the new additional mail address is visible, and i have received an email from the Activation Server confirming, i am also receiving mails from both email addresses.the issue is that the icon for the extra mailbox is not appearing on the home screen, or in any of the folders (up until the o/s upgrade i had no issues and it was always visible) I have taken the battery in and out - any other suggestions?

Jun 1, 2011Im not 100% sure what happened to it, today I got a brand new 9300 and I connected it to my wi-fi connection and I visited a few pages, after that I put my sim card into it topped my phone up and connected my phone to the BIS as I only set up the BIS today I have to wait for upto 24 hours for it to work, in this space of time my browser icon has dissapeared completely it still appears in Core Applications but I have looked in every folder i have and cannot find it or how I could get it back?

Jul 4, 2011Recenlty my browser has stoppe working. If I click on the browser icon nothing happens. If I try and switch applications the phone states that your device dose not currently have any browser configuration service book entires. Please contact your service prodiver to enable the browser on your device. The thing is I have just recently moved from Ireland to Canada and I am currently on an Irish provider, but I have not got the data plan and never have had a data plan. I access the browser through wi-fi connections. The wifi has always worked even when I arrived in Canada. now that I have been here for a week it has suddenly stopped. I have trid the host routing table, taken the sim out, taken the battery out and tried rebooting it.

Feb 23, 2012the Hotspot Browser icon shows on the main menu but when I click on it nothing happens. If I select the Hotspot Browser icon and then press the Menu key, I get kicked into the main menu. Have searched far and wide for the answer to this problem, but no luck. Most posts complaining about the Hotspot Browser are about getting a connection to the Internet. I am not even that far -- the browser simply doesn't load.I have a BB email plan and wifi. The wifi works fine for email with the mobile network turned off, so I know that my Wifi settings are fine.

Jul 26, 2010I bought a Sprint 8330 from a guy on Craigslist, and it worked fine until my girlfriend freaking wiped my phone trying to guess my password. So I got on crackberry and followed the instructions from Lecture 12 of the BB 101 and got it up and running again. Or so I thought.. Now, I have no browser icon whatsoever, and all of my MMS options are gone. I believe the phone had OS4.3 before because now all of my home screen stuff looks different along with my inbox. I just wanna have my MMS and Internet back. Should I go back to 4.3? Or is this something really easy that I just don't know because I'm a first time BB user? Help pls?
Also! I had the phone flashed over to work with Cricket Mobile. I doubt that has anything to do with it though considering my MMS and internet still worked then.

For instance, I'll change the default search engine to Bing. That tab will use Bing for searches. If I open a new tab or close and reopen the app, it will use Google for searches again.

Apologies for the appalling mock-up but it seemed a good way of trying to describe it. It's a grey square with a phone receiver flashing green and yellow in the middle. There also appears to be a letter D to the bottom right hand corner.URL... and URL...It's very odd, flashes for a few seconds and then disappears.
