View 5 Repliesso i charged it the red LED start to show and white screen with battery icon in the middle it looks like empty battery, and stuck on it and sometimes it keeps spinning over and over again until it bcome black screen then it starts the same begining I tried the hard boot by taking the battery out for sometime and reinstalled it but it didn't work. I even try putting a different battery (friends battery) but still no joy.. and the main catch is if i try taking out the battery and plug the charger or connects it to the laptop it does the same thing without even any battery in it.So is it really a Battery problem or the OS problem.?? (If its a OS problem, can u install it myself at home.?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8520, and suddenly tonight, I have a read message icon on the home screen that won't go away. I have no emails or messages at all on my phone anymore, and I cleared the messages from the advanced tab thingy on the desktop manager. I've done a battery pull, turned it off and waited a few minutes before turning it back on, and nothing has worked. I even tried sending a text message to my phone from my husband's, and it showed up as 2 messages on the icon, but when I deleted that new text msg, it went back down to 1 read message and is still there.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis one will be hard to describe so I'll do my best: Somehow, I have 2 Toolbox Icons on my screen. One is movable and fully functional (works normally) and the other is stuck in the bottom right corner of my screen and is grayed out (but visible) and is not movable or functional.
I have done the following:
1) Reset phone;
2) Turned the Toolbox "on" and "off" in Settings (when doing this, the functional Toolbox Icon turns on and off as it should);
3) Battery pull. Still, no luck as the non-functioning Toolbox Icon simply will not go away...
I was in the process of downloading a couple of apps, and my iphone froze. I restarted it. Now, i'm stuck on the reboot black screen with the white apple logo. its been this way going on an hour or so.

I just updated my 9550's OS to the leaked .428 and the transition was fine besides one issue. The e-mail icon is stuck on my screen. I've read a few threads with this issue and tried every fix they had, nothing has worked. I think I've found the cause of the issue, but don't have a resolution. When I loaded the OS, I had two new Facebook messages. When the OS loaded, the OS recognized them as e-mails until I activated the Facebook app. When it loaded, the Facebook icon popped up on the homescreen, but the e-mail icon didn't disappear.
Some steps I've taken to try to resolve the issue:
1) Check all message locations, including SMS, MMS, BBM, e-mails, etc. There are no new messages anywhere.
2) Deleted both e-mail accounts from my phone, didn't take it away.
3) Backed up my data and wiped/restored.
4) Deleted Facebook as an app, then backed up the data and wiped/restored. Even without Facebook as an app the e-mail icon is still there.
5) Went to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, Register Now.
6) Went to Options, Advanced, Service Book, deleted my e-mail from there.

My iphone 4s screen is stuck on a picture of the usb plug with an arrow pointing toward the itunes icon. we discontinued our account with at&t and need to reset this phone to factory settings. I pluged it in to my computer but nothing happened. Brought up itunes, nothing. No reset instructions and the screen never changed. When we originally tried to clear out the info it told us we had to update itunes and we did. Now......stuck.

was in the middle of updating my blackberry and it came up with a message saying it had failed, so I unplugged my phone and from then onwards it gets stuck on the reboot screen and I cannot use my phone. All that happens is that the white bar at the bottom (the one that shows how much longer the reboot is going to be) , when it gets to the end instead of starting up my phone it just stays like it and nothing happens for a while. Then a white screen comes up and says " app error 200 "
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 9300. it's about 7 months old and am using OS 5. I had an application update for an application 'Economic Times'. It's a news app and was using it for a month. After the update it asked for a reboot so i clicked on reboot now. It was rebooting normally, and then it got stuck on the Welcome screen (the white screen where it just says BlackberryTM along with the blackberry logo). I tried to reboot it again but it gets stuck on the same screen. I don't know what to do. I've rebooted it many times but each time it gets stuck on that Welcome Screen.I also tried to wait it out hoping it would come but waited for half-anhour and it was still stuck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had to have a number of 4 Blackberrys throughout the last 4 months as i keep having faulty ones. I have had my recent one for just under 3 weeks and I downloaded a theme for it. It was fine for a day or two but all of sudden started getting really slow. I did the battery pop and from then on everytime it loads up none of the buttons works and my Blackberry isn't responding to anything that I do. It is stuck on the home screen but whenever i press a button the screen lights up again but other than that nothing works. What can I do to either reset my phone or get rid of the theme without going onto my phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a big problem on my blackberry. My battery died last night. i went to charge it this morning and about half an hour later i turned my phone on. It got past the loading page and got stuck on the Tmobile startup screen. I cannot see my main home screen and pressing any of the buttons does not work either. Yet i can hear text messsages coming to my phone but cannot see them. Before the Tmobile startup screen a message appears saying 'media card inserted.' I took it out and it said 'media card removed.' I have restarted my blackberry by taking the battery out many times now it is not loading to the homepage.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just updated all the applications and such on my blackberry via blackberry desktop software, and when the phone turned on, it asked me if I wanted to update the email application. I said yes, as I have been having problems with it, and it asked me if I wanted to proceed, even if the update may cause issues with my email. Of course, assuming nothing would happened, I clicked yes, the app was downloaded, and my phone asked if I wanted to restart now or later. I chose now, however, when restarting, the blackberry screen comes up, the little bar fills up to the end with white, but nothing happens afterwards.
I have tried removing the battery several times, connecting it to my laptop, etc. but nothing works! My phone is still stuck
This morning I switched my blackberry on and it loaded to about 3 quarters of the bar and then froze, I've tried restarting it multiple times also tried taking the battery out and I'm having no luck.

I have a blackberry curve 3g with version 5 OS, I have 3 icons stuck - 1 text message, 1 blackberry app world, 1 facebook.
I have tried a battery pull, and searching for unread text messages, there are none, there are also no updates for any apps, or any facebook notifications - I have reset my fb notifications from the fb app and nothing has changed.
They have been stuck there for over a week and it is beginning to irritate me.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8520. Yesterday it got stuck on a white screen, with a small black clock in the middle (the kind that you see when you're waiting for a page to load on the internet browser).Even if I turn my phone off, take the battery out, or put it on charge, this "white screen of death" as I've read it being described by other people online, won't go away!!

I got three warning messages, which I don't exactly remember but it was about something may not function correctly (regarding to version difference). I just continued installation, and it asked for a reboot. When I rebooted the mobile, it goot stuck at the boot screen. Then nothing! The thin status bar bellow BlackBerry's logo fills up until it's full, then nothing happens. When I wait for longer time (a few minutes), I get a message on a white screen with a tiny font with "App Error 606", with one option of 'RESET'.
