my blackberry screen is stuck with a white screen and the blackberry logo. i tried taking the battery out, reboot but nothing is working, it still goes back to the white screen with logo. i also tried to download the Blackberry Desktop Manager, advice from the other threads, but it won't let me download, error. i have been at it for several hours now.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was taking a picture and the screen went totally white. I've tried pulling the battery twice and the blackberry reboot bar runs all the way through and it goes to a white screen again. I can't get it to do anything. I've never had this happen before.
View 7 Replies View Relatedso i charged it the red LED start to show and white screen with battery icon in the middle it looks like empty battery, and stuck on it and sometimes it keeps spinning over and over again until it bcome black screen then it starts the same begining I tried the hard boot by taking the battery out for sometime and reinstalled it but it didn't work. I even try putting a different battery (friends battery) but still no joy.. and the main catch is if i try taking out the battery and plug the charger or connects it to the laptop it does the same thing without even any battery in it.So is it really a Battery problem or the OS problem.?? My Blackberry 8520 curve suddenly hangs giving a white screen and when i restart it - the screen remains white. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

I can turn it off and back on and it will work fine but when I lock it or is goes black, and goes back onto the white screen. ive tried everything i can without taking it apart. I dont have any warrenty or insurance for it. I got it from my sister and ive had it for about a year and not dropped it once! just abit battered from when she had it. Ive been told to buy a new screen but im not paying for a new screen and then someone to fit it for me :/

I installed lifetime free ovi maps on to N97 via computer and it worked initially. Then all of a sudden everything went black and phone restarted itself and since then it is stuck on the white screen with nokia logo.I have taken out battery umpteen times and everytime it is stuck. Won't go beyond this point.

All I can do is lock and unlock the device. I tried wiping off data and install new OS and updating the OS but no use. When I reinstall a new OS I hear some music. I know this is what happens when you turn on Ultra Power Save mode, but it wasn't enabled when I checked. I enabled and disabled that mode, cleared my cache partition, checked under Direct Access to make sure Grayscale wasn't on, rebooted, and I've restarted a couple of times. Nothing.

However, it finally gave a disk error yesterday and stuck in its main desktop screen. Yesterday was my first day trying to use my new E7 as my primary phone. I am having a major problem where the phone is stuck at the white nokia log boot screen and it keeps restarting.
In the days before, I updated from the original 13.x firmware to 14.002 though the ovi suite. After about an hour of usage yesterday, I opened the on phone ovi store application and it said an update was required before I could use it, so I let it update OTA. After the update, I opened the application and tried to get Angry Birds Free. The download started, then I pressed an in app button to do something else in the mean time and the phone froze up during the screen transition. Restarted with 8 second power cycle. Back into the ovi store to continue the download, this time the phone restarted on its own halfway through the download. Back into the ovi store a 3rd time to continue the download, phone froze up. Restarted with 8 second power cycle. Wouldn't get past the boot screen.
Yesterday I was able to get the phone to connect to my computer and I attempted to reinstall 14.002 firmware 2x, which seemed to work but I was still stuck. I was able to call Nokia Customer Care and the support person tried some of the same things I did. Then without a sim card in the device we connected to my computer, tried to reinstall firmware, it complained about no sim card. I put an old non-working sim in the device and the home screen came up all of a sudden. So it appeared to be fixed.
I'm back to the same issue today, only now my computer won't connect to the phone. I've tried 10 times. Once it connected but only as a storage drive, not to Ovi Suite.
I was updating my Iphone 5 to the new update and left it plugged in to finish the update. When I came back it was stuck on the white loading screen and a message on the computer said iTunes could not connect to the Iphone because it was locked with a passcode and wants me to enter the passcode. However I cannot enter the passcode because the phone won't let me. I cannot get the iphone to shut off or restart as my top button hasn't been very responsive lately.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. my dog got hold of my 8530 and put a toothmark in the screen cover. The screen was also damaged meaning I could see white and grey stripes. I bought a new screen and replaced the old one. Now when I turn it on, I get the white screen and i cannot dial out or recieve calls. Basically the phone is dead. I was able to connect to my desktop and install the latest OS version. I put the old screen back in and I still cannot recieve or dial. I must have done something while taking it apart or putting back together? It is a very simple procedure so I would think it difficult to screw it up. Before I took it apart, i could get phone calls and dial out but i couldnt see the outgoing or incoming call screen. I took the battery out before I took it apart. Now when I connect to my desktop, the connection comes and goes as if you were plugging and plugping in the device.
