I have a blackberry curve and I only use it internationally. My charger doesn't work with American outlets, so I have to wait to charge it over the three months I don't use it and it stays dead all summer. Is this bad for the battery?

i have a Blackberry Curve 8520. I plugged the phone in to charge about an hour ago and it seemed to work alright. I then went to move my phone plus charger upstairs so i could charge it overnight, plugged it in with the same charger it worked with earlier and no sign of charging. I've tried with my pc charger aswell and tried different plugs/chargers.

In my (XP) "Documents and settingsusernameLocal SettingsTemp" folder there are 445 objects that include the word "Zumo" in their filenames. They total almost 8GB. They appear to be artifacts of MotoCast left behind at every reboot. What are they? Why does MotoCast leave them behind and not clean them up on the "next" boot up? Can they be removed?

Everytime I make a comment about how they are really only draining their battery by leaving wifi enabled 24/7 yet they continue to do it..

I know there are some (very, very few) apps that require a wifi connection..
Facetime requires WiFi but at this point it's more of a novelty than anything else..
Throughput is a little better but not enough to justify the additional battery drain..
The hotspot app (as soon as the IP4 jailbreak is released..)
Checking mail/browsing the net in an area with no at&t service..
That is all that comes to mind.. I think they just like to enable it because they can, but let me know if I'm missing anything?
Just recently, my 9810 stopped leaving email on my server. I am using a POP 3 server through AT&T. I use Outlook on my laptop and want all my email aggregated there (I remove from server when I pull it there). I was under the impression that BB always left mail on the server and I cannot find a setting anywhere to make me beleive otherwise. Also, this is not mail that I have deleted on my handheld, it is still in BB inbox - just not popping into my desktop as it should if it were still on the server.

I also turned off the animations as well which could also contribute to the speed feeling really fast. My battery does not appear to be draining much faster.

The problem is when I am leaving the house but not going to the car. Is there a way I can determine that I am leaving my house or disconnected from my home Wifi so that I can turn WiFi off and data on?
I leave my WiFi constantly turned on on my phone. I use WiFi at home and work so it will automatically connect when I'm in those 2 places, but anywhere else it isn't connected. Is it still using battery even if its not connected? Does it search for a connection when its not connected, sort of like the radios searching for a cellular signal?

It happens everyday and is getting worse Sometimes I lose it for 5 minutes, but 3 hours is ridiculous! I'm still connected to 3G. I can talk on the phone and I can use the browser for internet. But i can't get my work emails and my apps don't work. I tried resending my service books nothing I turned on and off all my services on the phone nothing. I run the connection diagnostics and it says Blackberry Registration: No. I updated to the latest leak .161 and that didn't help.I found a thread on Crack Berry where numerous others are encountering the same issue, so I don't think exchanging the device is going to help. Someone from Blackberry please fix this! This is a serious issue!

However to my dismay, the phone was left on my front porch without release authorization. The tracking info says the following.Left at front door. Package delivered to recipient address - release authorized This unacceptable for two reasons. First, this would be easy target for thieves. Especially with the wide publicity of the iPhone launch. If I were a thief I'd be driving around residential areas and just swiping any fedex package that left on the front door. Secondly, today is an extraordinarily hot day and the temps are easily in the upper 90's. My porch is in direct sunlight, effectively making the box act as an oven baking my iPhone. So I ended up leaving work for an hour so that I can pick up the phone so it wouldn't bake in the sun for 5 hours. Angry as hell, I called Fedex to see who authorized the release. They said that Fedex reserves the right to release packages in residential areas without a release agreement on file to expedite deliveries because of possible volume issues. WTF! So am I being over-sensitive? Or do I have the right the be a little peeved? I'm actually pretty angry. Almost to the point where I want to call fedex or apple and say I never got the package. But I won't. I'm a good christian boy and never would do such a thing.

I plugged it in for about an hour but the sign would not disappear so I did a battery pull. Radio turned back on, but now the phone will not charge. However, just in the last couple of weeks, messages I SEND from the BB also get left in the sent-mail folder on my mail server, which has been causing my mailbox to fill up if I don't log in every couple of days and delete them. How do I turn that off. I see no option either in the Messages application or in the Email Setup Wizard that controls sent mail.

A few weeks ago my charger broke so I've been using my USB and my sister's charger when it needed charging and I've tried it on both and it's not been charging on either.
It comes up with the lightning bolt over the battery in the corner to say that it's charging but the % doesn't change and then it turns itself off. I thought it was the battery so I bought a new one and when it ran out I had the same problem.
I've had my Blackberry Curve 9300 for about 7 months now & I've been experiencing this problem for the past 3 months. For some reason my Blackberry "chooses" the chargers that can charge it, i.e. If I use my wall charger, it randomly works, If I use my Boss' Car Charger, it works like any normal charger, I tried using my friend's wall charger, same problem as mine, then I tried another friend's Car Charger, this time it didn't work. I haven't installed any 3rd party apps apart from the usual package like facebook & bbm so I'm guessing the problem is elsewhere. The main problem is the "randomness" of my wall charger; sometimes it takes me a few minutes of pluging the charger to the usb port over & over again till the lightning sign shows that it's charging, but most of the time it takes me as much as 4hrs to get that sign to pop up, in which by that time my BB's already dead. The clock appearing at the time you plug the charger in has no effect as I press the return button every time after the clock appears, & the charging sign still isn't there. It's annoying because everytime the battery goes red are the time when I need it the most, like when I need to meet someone outside the office. I don't want to go through the inconvenience of purchasing a new phone of replacing this one as I have had lots of notes & messages that I want to keep but since there's a USB port problem, I can't even connect my BB to my laptop as it says it can't recognise the USB connection. I've tried with multiple cables as well & none can be recognised.

My phone was fully charged at13:00. I turned the wi-fi, the network, and the bluetooth off. I made no calls. We are now 16:30. My battery is at 70%. This does not seem normal.
