The customer tried to sync his blackberry with blackberry desktop and few hours later start an amazing number of new emails into one of his POP3 mail accounts.the emails follow this problem http://www.blackberry.com/select/es/support/kb/internet/KB04254_-1.shtml so yes, the customer did install the desktop with BES option and he have BIS. carrier: Movistar - Uruguay Blackberry 8520 @ 4.6 few screens to be clear and help to explain as the previous link says i had:
- Uninstalled the Blackberry Desktop software from pc.
- Deleted all Service Books
- Whipe the phone (also third party apps)
- Deleted the BIS Account
- i did checked if it has the right configuration at admin provisioning site (was right,it had BIS)
- Made a new BIS account
- Added the two customer Email accounts
- Restored the backup of phonebook, calendar, tasks, sms, email. (NO service books restored)
but two hours later, the customer once again get the unstoppable mail, the mails came to his mail box, not just the divice, and is just with one of his accounts. did i do something wrong? what more can i do? any suggestions?
I have set up email on my BB and receive OK however the BB emails do not update when I have read or deleted them on my laptop and visa versa. I also keep getting email messages that say " This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server" and a load of code. I get loads of these in one day/night. My work email is being accessed via MS Webmail as far as I understand.

I think the phone is set up to automatically select the best network. Normally this will be my WLAN,but I suppose,if I am in an area of the house with poor WLAN coverage,the mobile network is automatically selected?

The recipient xxx@xxxx.com was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying". This has never happened before in the year I have owned the phone.

This is very strange, for the past few weeks now my device stops receiving emails in the afternoons. Sometimes it's from noon-11pm, other times it's a few hours say from 2pm-5pm. I just can't get my head around it. I'm still collecting mail in my PC inbox but it's not getting pushed to my device and they all come in at once later on. This is just a regular pop mail account like mail.mydomain.com. I've had the same host for years without problem and a blackberry for about 5. It's a blackberry bold 9000 (I've had since Jan 09) and on the Rogers network in Canada.

I read them and deleted them from my BB inbox, my Outlook inbox and my Apple Mail inbox on my various devices. They are now arriving on my BB several times a day. I have started getting hundreds of emails everyday with Network@etp address. First time it happened I had turn the phone to silent for a movie and when I came out to check my phone I had 450 new emails! I have checked everything on the web I can find, I wiped my phone and set up my emails for internet, uninstalled Blackberry Desktop Manager and made sure I'm NOT on the enterprize system. I have removed the Service Book items. I have made sure my email does not do any auto-replies.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter I upgraded to Nokia Belle on my N8, my phone will stop receiving calls, messages, emails and can't even browse the internet. It behaves like I'm not connected my mobile network. I will have to switch the phone off and switch it back on to be able to receive calls again. Every other installed applications work so far they don't need to access the network. The strange thing is that, you won't notice anything. If you are someone that receives calls a lot, you'll just notice that you haven't received any calls or SMS or emails. This happens everyday, sometimes 3 times a day.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend is coming up as something like 20 contacts in the Contacts app on my Samsung S5 with Android 5.0. Even if I link her contacts together, they just get automatically created again. Same think if I delete them. She has several email addresses and we share several apps together such as traffic apps, Facebook, WhatsAPP Skype, etc etc. There is a separate conact for each one. I've tried setting the "Contact to Show" setting to Device (only) but they all still show up so they must be "Device" contacts. I've also got the Contact Setting option checked for "Show only contacts with phone". Even then all her email only and app only contacts show up.
