I have received the app error 523 on the phone. I have ensured to follow advice on the blacberry website concerning this error and nothing has worked. The phone wouldn't even recognise that it was connected to the laptop to be able to re-run or even update the software even a hard reset wouldn't work.
My son purchased his 9300 in August on 3 network. Yesterday his phone displays error 102. Took it back to the 3 shop today. They advised me visit the Blackberry site and do a software reload. I've searched on the site but nothing straight forwards is shown. I've looked on the forum and it seems that other Blackberry users have experienced the same problem. If there is a straight forward solution could you please let me know, or should I take it back to the 3 shop and request that the phone is sent back. The phone is just over 3months old, soooo disappointed .
my phone has been off for 2 days i have removed the battery a lot still giving me that error code i have tried updating my software like i have been advised but it kept asking me for passwords i didn't know about. Now its locked and the phone still wont switch on. How do i reset the password of the device on desktop man and update my software so that my phone can work again. Last 2 messages was that my info was being deleted and since then its been giving me security violation. i can't switch on my phone. i stay so far from town and my only mode of communication is my phone. i have been using my laptop but am about to run out of bundles .
While I was updating my Blackberry Curve 9300 this notice popped up "An error has occurred while downloading software for your device. Please verify your Internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists." My internet connection is fine and my firewall is not blocking it?My device software is 6.0 Bundle 1879
i was updating my BB curve 9300 to the new os6 and i encountered an error. it says "ONE OR MORE MODULE COULDN'T BE RESOLVED" I tried doing taking out the battery and then plug the phone and do the manual updating, but it still wouldn't upgrade.
I was thinking, my phone has a "T-Mobile" logo on startup. Im using it in the Philippines, via the Globe network. I downloaded the update for globe, but it didnt work. Does anyone know if I should download the upgrade for T-Mobile instead? And can I still be able to use my Globe number in it and my BB service?
I tried to upgrade to OS6, but this problem appear "An error has occurred while downloading software from your device, please verify your internet connection or try again later, if problem persist". I'm sure there is no problem with my internet connection. I clicked retry, but the message always appear. I've tried to restart the phone and all the things.
I followed the instructions on the website and when I connect it to reload the software, the error number on the screen's device changes to 561 and a window opens to tell me the desktop software can't communicate with my blackberry.Once I clicked on repair and wrote in my password it simply tells me that there are no available updates of BlackBerry Device Software at this time and to put in my email so they can warn me when a new update comes out.I don't need to update the software obviously, just to reload any version of it so my phone can work again.
We recently upgraded my wife's Blackberry to a Curve 3G 9330. When we try to sync to Outlook (non-Exchange), we encounter an error with the contacts (address book). The Desktop Software simply indicates an "unknown error" - not particularly facilitate. We've narrowed it down to a potentially bad contact record on the Blackberry, but cannot find a way to delete it. The options menu will not come up on the Blackberry for this one record. We've try to sync the device by overwriting the contacts with new data from Outlook, but still get's the same error message. I cannot find any information on erasing/deleting the complete contact list on the Blackberry.
I have a curve 9300 downloaded a game of blackberry app world when it finished it said reboot phone,after I rebooted the screen went white and displayed app error 200 reset. I have tried everything including reinstalling the software on my PC and even an update but the computer says to connect phone when it already is and other times the screen loads black and shows blackberry on it and a bar that realoads and after this it goes right back to the white screen...

My wife has a bb 9300 3g on os6 and everything has been fine.However somehow she has screwed up the wi-fi settings.The phone will not connect to our home router and displays the rror message " failed to obtain an IP address".I hve tried everything on the phone from
- Removing the wi-fi setting and reentering them. - Entering the details manually - Removing the battery and rebooting the phone - Reinstally the os over the computer
Nothing seems to work. I know the router is fine as I have the same phone and it connects ok along with several other devices.Has anyone any suggestions before I reset the phone to factory setting?
i have a blackberry curve 9300 running ios 6. every time i try to write in Arabic, whenever i hit teh space bar, i get a message "input system error. system is being restarted"
I upgraded my Blackberry 9300 v.5 to a v.6. It went well, it was able to boot after the upgrade but it was far too slow so I decided to reboot it by taking out the battery, it opened, it showed the Blackberry logo and it was loading but after it has finished loading, it won't proceed to the home screen so I waited and after a few hours my screen says "app error 603" or something like that. I tried taking it to a technician and they said they would have to re-program but it costs a lot, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this ASAP.

I am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application.In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.
I finally joined the BB community and I am really enjoying my 9300 Curve.Recently I saw that a friend of mine had the OS 6 system on and I have been trying to upgrade my OS 5 to 6. However,Things I have tried so far: I have used the desktop software's upgrade function to upgrade but every time I get the message that, there is no upgrade available. I also downloaded my carrier (MTN - South Africa) specific software the "9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448" file and installed it onto my computer. I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.
I downloaded the new O.S. 6.O for my curve 9300 i was wondering if anyone expericed that when you are in Facebook it jumps around very fast the cursor. I also was wondering if this new 6.O was for people with touchscreen. It seems to move very fast.Does anyone know how I can slow it down.
this is my second blackberry curve 9300 and with this one I am unable to get 3G anywhere and in fact struggle to get signal anywhere. I also only receive text messages that are only 1 page long anything longer than that and it just says"[receiving text]".
I am installing cell tracker software to my phone and was instructed to transfer 5 .jar and .tar type files to my phone after transferring the files and installing the app it does not run and I get error screen "Uncaught Exception: Java.Lang.NoclassDeffound Error" when I try to run the app. I have been told that there has been some error in transferring the files correctly to my cell phone from my PC.
I keep getting an error message that says "uncaught error: java.lang.null.pointerexception." I wiped out my handheld, but every time it restarts that message comes back up. When I go to my text messages, and I hit the "menu" button, nothing happens it just freezes and doesn't let me scroll up or down until I hit "menu" again.
Yesterday I downloaded one of the free App from Blackberry Apps World. When I rebooted my device, I saw a WHITE SCREEN with an error message APPS ERROR 200 - Reset. I resetted the device several times but still get a WHITE screen with the error message.

I've a 9300 on T-Mobile UK with BB Worldwide booster, which I thought was for email. At the top right is "3G BB (icon)". I think the BB refers to the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)..I'm in France and have used by BB to connect to the internet directly and also using it as a 3G modem via Desktop Software to my netbook. After downloading several MBs of data, I am relieved to find that although all the MBs of data appear on my account, using Orange france, there is not a single charge for the data. I am assuming that using the BIS also includes www data as well as email.
There are also some BlackBerry.net entries - which I assume are for the GPS maps etc.
I bought a blackberry curve 9300 4 days ago and today it fully ran out of charge. I put it on charge and now it won't charge or switch on. If I take the battery out and put it back in and then put it on charge, a red light comes on for about 10-15 seconds and then nothing else happens. Ive only had it 4 days and this has never happened before.
