Mar 26, 2011With device 'on' and connected to my PC by USB, I have repeatedly tried the website update button over the last week. Nine times out of ten, the instant I click produces 'Error on page' at screen bottom and repeat clicking gets me nowhere. Once in ten tries, a progress bar opens at screen bottom. It usually takes 30 minutes to reach 50% and by 45 minutes, there has been no further progress and 'Error on page' is displayed. I have the BB Desktop Manager software installed on the PC.

Mar 28, 2010I've had my phone for about a month now and my "P" button is... Having some problems. It still works but its hard as rock to the touch. It doesn't click down like the rest of the buttons. I have a few scratches on the phone on the back piece and such. So does RIM cover this? Over the last couple days my curve has not allowed me to make ourgoing calls or recieve incomming calls. The speaker "clicks" in and out seccond to seccond braking up any converstation. No matter how many bars of service I am getting. I believe it is a faulty speaker but have been getting the "run around" by both the store I bought it from -told be that my carrier will replace or fix it and then my carrier(fido) telling me that blackberry will replace or fix it.
BB Curve :: 8520 - Supposedly Not Covered By Warranty?
Jan 15, 2012I bought an 8520 curve from the carphone warehouse exactly one year ago that had a 2 year manufacturers warranty with it. The silver bit of the usb port came out on the end of the charger so i returned it for repair. It has come back with the CPW saying that it was due to mis-use and not covered ! Can BB give me a second opinion and how do i contact them for this sort of service?

Jul 13, 2011why I can't load mobile facebook, or for that matter any website anymore, even though I am receiving emails normally and posts from facebook. But when I click on a link to take me to facebook etc. it looks as if it's loading, but it never does. all I get is a blank page. I was receiving everything fine, and could access any link until recently. I don't know if somebody maybe changed somethin in the settings maybe - how to be able to access mobile facebook etc. again.

Also, I tried to complete a job search on monster.com. I could complete all of the fields, but when I clicked on the "search" button, nothing happens.

Feb 26, 2010I can login to my mobile bank website, but when I try to get my balance I get nothing. My banks IT department said if I can access it via my PC using the same address and all comes up good, then I need to speak with my carrier. Knowing the tools I'll end up getting if I call Sprint, I figured someone here with a lot more intelligence than any CS might be able to point to the right direction. I'm sure it some security setting that I don't have right, just find it odd that I can get that far into the site with no issues.

May 20, 2010I have had the curve for a few weeks now. At first i changed the settings of the browser to "hotspot" so i could use it with wifi. It was working really well, then all of a sudden it stopped durin browsing. The phone says the wifi connection is fine, but whenever i go to the broswer and try to go to a website it just says loading at the bottom and nothing happens.
Can anyone help with this? should i restart the phone setting somehow because i might have done changed some setting during browsing without realising or is this an actual issue with the phone?

But the v21.0.045 seems to be not available for India for (RM-505) and still as of today shows the latest firm ware is 20.0.019. The phone updater shows only the latest OVI free maps available-which can't be installed.Does the Nokia employees or other users in this forum have any information when the update for RM-505 would be available?

Although I donot get sent mails from my Windows Live account (mails sent from PC) on the phone. I can see mails sent from the phone, but not the ones that I send from my computer. The gmail account does not have this problem, only the Windows Live account has.
