BB Curve :: Address Book Shows Both Email Contacts And Phone Number Contacts?
Nov 8, 2011My address book shows my both my email contacts and my phone number contacts. I just want to view my phone ook contacts and not the emails. How can i change this?!

May 9, 2012I can't see add or see any of my contacts. I know they are there because the correct name shows up when I manually dial the number. When I try to add these contacts and numbers back into my contact list nothing happens. All of my filters are unchecked and I am showing all of my contact lists.

Jan 7, 2010I'm a BB newbie but recently received one for work. My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) to my new Curve 8330. I took it to my local Sprint store and they said the contacts can't be transferred because the BB is registered on a BES. The Bluetooth connection won't work either, I assume for the same reason.Am I out of luck or is there some other way I can get the contacts into my BB? I have the contacts stored as individual business card files (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

Jun 11, 2010My husband and I bought Blackberry Curve 8530s last night. We had all our contacts in our blackberrys when we left the store, I was even assigning ring tones to certain people already. I downloaded blackberry for facebook later that night and all my contacts were suddenly gone. I've tried to manually put in contacts, click save, and then no contact shows up. There are no filters checked in the contacts so I know it's not that. Any other ideas?

problem:i am totally new to blackberries, so i am really confused. first of all i can not add any contacts to my bbm. it is just stuck on "pending". same goes for people who are trying to add me. updating and reinstalling bbm did not help. firewall settings are off.second of all, i can not activate my email accounts, whenever i click on setup/email accounts, its says: to activate your enterprise account enter details provided by your system administartor in the field below.it then asks for email and password.in tips it said to get the password from my system adminisrator. i have no idea who my system administartor is and why would i need his assistance to set up email notification to my bb. or how would i get a password from him/her i have the propper blackberry data plan, (bis) as i have gotten the blackberry from a rogers branch with the plan. other than email and bbm, my data works fine; browser, facebook, Internet etc.
1. do i have to get bis and bes separatelly? do i even need bes to use bbm?
2. how would i fix my bbm?
3. why does email setup forces me to get some enterprise accoun? why cant i just use my gmial and hotmail accounts?
