The trackpad is not working anymore, I can just click but not move it and after rebooting there are two error messages:
Uncaught exception:net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessException Uncaught exceptionjava.lang.NullPointerException
I have now started getting the message Uncaught exception:net.rim.device.api.system.ObjectGroupReadOnlyException when I press the green key to make a call. This then remains on the screen even if I press to confirm OK. It eventually goes away but while on the screen I cannot do anything else other than turn the phone off.

At times when I reboot my handheld it shows Uncaught exception 9 > = 9 or Uncaught exception 7 > = 7. I read a bit about it on the forums and found it may be because the system has an if command but there is no end command which may cause this error. Now I am technically not very sound and want to know what should I do to eradicate this problem!!
Also, how many times should one reboot their phone? I mean should it be daily? I read somewhere on the forums here only that it is good to do it daily if at some point I am not clear enough or asking a lot of questions, however,

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just had this bb since december, and it was working fine a few days, then it started giving me a message after booting up: Uncaught Exception 3>3 or something like that, I pressed ok the first time it happened so I didn't mind about it. Then a few days ago, my phone fell over my bed, and turned off by itself, I tried pulling the battery out and it wasn't turning on at all at first, then it turned on and the typical booting process: Red led> Blackberry logo on screen and below the grey bar loading, which only loads until like 3/4 of it. This has been happening for like a month.. the keyboard seems to be working. I've tried with another battery. It doesn't connect to Desktop Manager, jl_Commander or BBSAK.. nothing works, I've tried wiping it with jl_commander and it doesn't connect to the device.. I've tried with other computers, I've tried with other cables.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA couple of months ago the What's App application required an update. I updated it and ever since my phone has steadily had more and more issues. First, I kept getting this uncaught error message, shortly thereafter the 2 email accounts (both gmail) that I have linked to the account disappeared. The message icon shows that I have messages, but icons not there (I have tried the show all option). At one point the message icon started exponentially adding the number of messages until it got up to over 86,000. When I reboot the phone it goes back down and then steadily increases again. usually though it's more to 400 - 500 rather then tens of thousands. I have been trying to install updates and do a wipe of the BB so that I can start from scratch, unfortunately the application loader is unable to back up data. The desktop manager is unable to connect to the blackberry and indicates that an upgrade is required. I have tried doing the upgrade both directly from the phone and connected to the desktop manager, but nothing seems to work. If I try to upgrade the software directly from the BB, I get to the start download button and when I click, nothing happens. I have removed all applications except bberry app world and one game that I play, Pixelated Plus. Still nothing.

Tried deleting the app,removing battery while the phone was still on and even tried upgrading the OS to 6. But of no avail. Teribbly disappointed that BB has such issues with the most basic requirement of adding and editing contacts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt started with my message folder disappearing, or me deleting it without knowing. I couldnt find it and it ended up on my screen somehow. Now the problem is this message "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException", , and this when I go to the message folder. The message folder is empty and I can send messages, but not recieve them. I see the lille arrow in the corner, meaning im recieving something, but nothing happens... And when i send a text it doesnt show the text as send, the folder is just empty, so it doesnt save draft either.. Ive tried reeboting and changing the theme, nothing works. Should i wipe it? cause i dont think i can reinstall os then, bcause i dont have internet on my bbI read [URL], and guess that I what I am supposed to do? but I do not understand it all. I understand the words, but something like desktop manager and installing the device software, where to find this?! I dont have a USB either, is this really necessary?
