My 8900 wont let me get a blackberry app world update and so I can't use it, each time it goes into browser I click next after it asks for preferred language and it comes up with "Sorry, the requested item could not be loaded!"Please tell me what I can do to fix it as I cannot use BBM until it is fixed as I need to redownload that as that also stopped working
View 1 RepliesI have a blackberry curve 9360 and I go though t-mobile. I have been trying to download the latest update to BBM and it won't download. I click on the "upgrade" button, it says please wait, then nothing. It does the same for the app world update. I've spoken to my carrier and they say it's something on rim's side that they can't fix. Everything else on the phone is working just fine.

I have tried and tried and keep getting the same message half way through the download saying "Download Failed. 907 Invalid COD". I contacted my service provider who said they had sorted and I was to turn my phone off for an hour and switch it back on and I should be able to download it. I done this and 3 hours later I am still getting the same message. I have even tried removing the battery and sim card but this does not work either.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have got a curve 8900 (V.5.0.0.592 - Plate-forme 5.2.0.58) and I am currently facing a problem with blackberry app world.When I try to download BB appworld via my device, I receive the following notification : "Désolé, votre appariel ne prend pas en charge Blackberry appworld pour le moment" => in UK : "Sorry, your device does not support Blackberry appworld for the moment".
I meet the requirements and I already had installed and used app world in the past... and it has dissapeared, obviously after having made updates and/or having moved the icon from one folder to another.I then decided to reinstall the application, but as mentioned above, without any results.
Just recently I bought a Blackberry Curve 8900 with tmobile. Now here is the thing, I dont have a data plan of any kind with tmobile. So when I bought the phone I insterted my phone and booted it up. Checked with my seller to make sure it made a phone call... it did. So I knew for sure my SIM card was working just fine....
When I got home, the first thing I did was connect to my wireless network.. using Wi-Fi.. obviously. And from there I went to the Setup Wizard and went through each step. When I got to the Email portion, It gave me two options, I dont remember both but one of them was "set up email through blackberry enterprise server".. or something like that. I was aware that I didnt have a data plan, so I clicked the second option. I went through the process and had EMAIL... through WIFI. I even sent my self email messages to make sure it was working and have proof that i recieved email and sent emaily to myself and others!!! without a data plan.This is what i expected.. i didnt know that this wasnt supposed to happen? and that blackberrys customers were only able to get email if they had a blackberry data plan?Well, naturally i figured everything else would work on a wif connection.. like the iphone. Even though you dont have the 3G data plan one can still access email, web, and aps. So anways, all the apps communicated with the wifi network and my web browser viewed pages on a wireless network.
Then my myfaves dissapeard and gave a java encoding script error or something. So what do i do? i call tmobile and spend hours troubleshooting. Eventually i am able to restore or update my OS with a PC and get my mfaves back. But now my ap world ap wont start and tells me that i need a data plan.. next its my web browser that tells me the same thing, as well as facebook. I am like what is going on?!. AND then when I try to set up email... there is only one option... and thats "setup email through a blackberry enterprise server"..if you took the time to read this.. why in the world did everything stop working with wi fi and out of nowhere asked me to use a blackberry data service plan?

When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had my BB 8900 for 1 week and I'm already thinking it is the single worst thing I've ever purchased.I've got the problem whereby I cannot download apps from BBAW (18 icon and skysports - one paid for, the other free). I've tried every fix found on forums and from google'ing the problem. What works for some is not working for me. I'm getting the error "There was a problem during installation. try again" Then:Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again." BBAW then closes and nada.I've tried updating my BB, changing me BB id, paypal logon, resetting the BBAW using the ALT RST thingy, tried wireless on, wireless off, turning all connections off, restarting the device, hard reset, soft reset, logging out of BBAW, closing the app etc. Tried all the KB's found online and un/reinstallign BBAW. I've googled this for the last 3 days, constantly. Is there anything else I can try before I smash what started to be a great phone into pieces on the back of the useless BBAW.
