I am missing many icons on my brand new 8530 Curve BB, like the lock icon, call log icon, bluetooth icon, Setting Icon etc etc, how can I load these? is there a website I could download them from?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo by mistake I deleted some folder On my Blackberry Curve 8330 and now I have NO icons on my phone at all. I can't use my left "quick access" key but when I type in a contact name everyone is there. Also my camera seems to work. Tho there are NO icons at all, none... I totally broke it!?
The best part I don't have the software at all. I have no idea where the CD is now. There is no back up, I never backed my phone up.
I think all my info is there, but there are just no icons to click on.
Just downloaded a new theme from App World, my Facebook, Twitter and Call Log Icons have diappeared, does anyone know how to get them back and keep the new theme

Now, the problem is that there are some icons missing, like the blackberry icon, the app world icon, social feed icon, whatsapp & FB. (the latter two are not so important of course). How do I do to find and install them again?

I have a work email account set up, and also a gmail account. For some reason, there are 2 email icons for the gmail account showing. I can just hide one I suppose, but does anybody know the proper way to fix that problem?

When I click my media icon, messages shows up. When I click my message icon, the blackberry app pops up. I have a blackberry 8530 by the way.
View 5 Replies View Relatedthis morning I took my phone off charge and it crashed like I'd taken the battery out but I hadn't.It got stuck on the O2 loading page and wouldn't turn on so took the battery out and it did the same thing getting stuck on the O2 screen. I found that if you turned it off and on with the power off button it would turn on.After it turned back on lots of the icons were missing, BBM, Browser, Facebook, Emails, Profiles icon (for changing from vibrate to silent etc) and other things that I can't remember just know there's more than that missing as the folders and menu are very empty.I can now get to BBM and the browser using the switch applications menu and they work fine so the applications don't need reinstalling the icons have just disappeared.
I've looked for them in the folders and checked the 'show all option' and changed the theme back to the original and still nothing. Also done lots of restars taking battery out and waiting etc. I haven't upgraded anything recently so can't have been that changing any settings.Also I don't have the cable to attach phone to the computer to back it up and reset to factory settings
Really hoping there's a different way as the applications are there and work fine just need to find the icons?
I have a curve 8530. How do I change the icons on the home screen? Also, the messages icons, there are 2, one plain envelope and one envelope with a earth on it. Do the same messages from the earth one (which I assume means email) go into the plain envelope one which I think means ALL messages including BB PIN Messages? And then to other texts show up in the plain one?

I can hold the A button and put it in what seems to be sleep mode, but my name and info does not show up on the home screen anymore. And you now push the mute button to unlock the keyboard. These are the only changes I have noticed. I liked the other way better.

I thought the button may have broken somehow, however, after locking my phone I hit the button and it unlocked it just fine. So apparently its not broken, it just up and quit taking me to my media.Is there a way to set the mute button as a shortcut again so I don't have to go through the menu button to get to my music, pics etc?
View 5 Replies View Relatedmy Yahoo Mail icon decided to go missing (again) after I did a battery pull. Normally, I can resend service books once or twice and it'll pop back up. This time, however, no such luck. I've resent services books (around 20 times or more). I've deleted service books all together and then resent them. I've deleted the email all together and readded it. I've tried with another Yahoo address. Nothing is able to bring back my beloved icon. Does anyone else have any ideas as to how to bring it back? I really hate the mail icon with the little globe and I'm pretty sure I'd do whatever it takes to get my Yahoo icon back.

View 4 Replies View RelatedFirst off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using Wanam lite custom rom and for some reason, the arrows indicating that there is a data activity are not showing up. There is also no data icon like 4G/3G/R etc to show that I am connected to the internet.
My data is on as I can browse and internet is working fine but this is important as well. I have tried changing LTE value to 4G in CSC features but that did not work....
I booted my phone in safe mode and when I returned into normal mode many of my apps' icons are missing. They are missing both from the home screen as well as the app drawer. They are still installed. I've been able to reload the OS and get it working, but this is going to get old.The whole thing is complicated with BES on GroupWise, sometimes the contacts aren't 100% in sync with the mailbox so its not just a matter of restore, reactivate and go.
