I am getting frustrated as every time I unlock my phone and when I am using it, I have to wait for up to 30secs for the hand on the little clock to stop moving round and vanish. This has only started happening over the last 2 months (my phone is 14 months old). I also sometimes get the phone freezing, with no clock and just have to wait a few seconds for it to start working again.

Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. Once it disappears, the phone again operates as normal, however the clock appears again and I am back at the problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife wanted to sell her BB curve 8520 for a BB upgrade Phone and so to delete all data I did a memory wipe. the phone never started after the wipe and got stuck on the white screen with a small clock in the middle...it stays on for a few min ...goes blank and starts again with the white screen....this keep on repeating on and on!!..I tried to use a method given in other treads by re intalling the software but I cant even connect the BB to my PC via USB (DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED)...I even tried different computers and different USB port and different WIndows (Win 7 and XP) still no luck!

My phone has a loading screen completly white with the clock in the middle, then after a while the screen goes black and a red light apears in the corner, then the white screen with the loading clock starts again!

Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours,even after fully charging.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI went to a different time zone last month and of course changed my clock on my Curve 8520 to that zone (6 hours ahead of my home zone EST). Of course when I returned I changed back. Since then every time I sync to my computer the zone changes to a different time (7 hours behind my zone). Also now after a sync when I click on the clock icon it shows 2 analog clocks. One large one with the new wrong time and a small one to the left showing the correct time. After I reset the time I get only one large analog clock showing the correct time until I resync again.I have checked and rechecked the settings. I have changed the date/time source setting from 'Blackberry' Network Time to 'Network' Time and this does not make any difference. I've pulled the battery. I've reset the sync maagement options.What a pain having to change the time every time I sync. I've called my service provider (rogers) and they went through the same steps I have already tried.

Some times, when the phone is locked, it will start playing this ticking sound from the back speaker (the one next to the camera). If you listen closely, you can hear the following:
1. The speaker turns on, you can hear static,
2. The speaker turns off abruptly with a "click" sound,
3. The speaker stays off for about 1 second, then starts again from point 1.
This ONLY happens while the phone is locked , and it stops if you unlock the phone. However, once it's started, the only way to stop it is to reboot the phone.
For the first time, my Bionic started making a sound, somewhat between a slow crackle and a tick (although not perfectly regular in timing), that was audible with the phone setting on a sofa cushion. It sounded like it was coming from the area of the mic, but I suppose it was coming from the speaker on the rear near the bottom. I was not actively using any apps at the time, although Google Music and Pocket Casts had both been used (via Bluetooth headset) earlier today.
I tried sleeping the phone and waking it up, and the sound resumed. Power off, waiting a minute or two, and then power on seems to have fixed it, at least for the 10 or so minutes since I restarted it. For the record, this phone has been nearly 100% reliable -- the battery cover has never been off since leaving the Verizon store, about a week after launch.
I unlocked my torch and I am unable to get a 3G signal. It was originally on Rogers and I'm now with Fido.

To resolve I upgraded the OS also with latest.. but still even in ON condition buttons are not working. No recognition. Earlier when it was hanging after some weird buttons behaviour it was later working ok after 10-12 hrs.. I was hoping same but this time when I upgraded software from desktop software then I am not able to accept the T&C of BB. I am not able to press OK button and still phone is in Hang condition. Even removing battery does not work, same thing repeats...

I know how to use the memory clear app built in to my BB, I also have Boost memory, I know how to click the browser and then options tik the bottom 2 boxes plus all the rest, I've pulled battery, I also have Bejoose. Well, im not a very heavy BB user but ive never had my batt go dead on me but it happened! i totally couldnt turn my phone on until i put in my charger.Then it happens randomly whereby my phone will heat up and the battery drops 5% every 10mins or so! until it shuts off!! It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour.Anyone knows whats happening?? i suspected whether it was any of my installed apps that are draining my batt, so i shut off everything! i mean no msn no foursquare no twitter only emails are on but yet it still happens!!Help please? i hope its just the batt thats screwed not my phone.

My clock/weather widget is still showing up on my home screen, but I can no longer click on it to get to the clock app with the world clock and the alarms. I can't find the clock app on the phone at all anymore. How do I get it back? I go get a new clock app from the app store, but I really like the HTC sense clock.
